Is event calendar pro required for community events addon?

Hi,

I wasn’t sure whether Event Calendar Pro is required for the Community Events Addon or whether the Community Events Addon works with the free version of Event Calendar?

My client wants people to be able to add their own events to the calendar so I think Community Events Addon is needed for that.

Hey Karen

Community Events does not require Events Calendar Pro. It will not include some of the extras that come with Events Calendar Pro, such as Additional Fields.
