MemberHi, Thomas. Thanks for your detailed reply.
Using your own snippet like that wouldn’t be any different than having this extension activated.
I tried replicating this issue and couldn’t. There must be something else at play on your site, too. I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

January 26, 2018 at 7:07 pm in reply to: I would like to insert the filter bar into a page … #1437698Cliff
MemberHi, Pascal. This is not currently available.
I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests:
- https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17840326-make-filter-bar-compatible-with-shortcoded-calenda
Please do add your vote(s) there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Thank you.

MemberYou bet! Have a great one.
Cliff
MemberThanks for the kind words. Because there’s a lot that can be done, everyone always wants something more or different. We love this but realistically cannot implement them all right away.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
Or, if you need a refund, please complete our Refund Request Form and link back to this thread for reference.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions about this topic.

MemberHere’s the example from our demo site: https://wpshindig.com/events/past/
If you’d like any other sort of display dedicated to past events, it’d require custom coding.
You might also want to add a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
Cliff
MemberIf things on your site are operating as they are on our demo site, then yes it would take custom code to change it.
You’ll need to troubleshoot your permissions issues, as we can’t advise in that area. https://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress#Core_Directories_.2F_Files might be helpful.

MemberHi, Stefan.
We keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future. Thanks for your understanding.
1)
No, we do not have this functionality. You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

2)
The Community Events Tickets options are the same as when creating an event via the wp-admin event edit screen. Here’s a screenshot: https://cl.ly/0e461C3M3u1r
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi, Chris. This issue has been reported to our development team.
I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Out of curiosity so we can do some testing, could you please provide an example where the address does not match the coordinates?

1)
You can see how it’s supposed to work at https://wpshindig.com/event-widgets/
2)
It could be that you need to add your Google Maps API Key (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/)

MemberHi. You can go to yoursite.com/events/past
Please let me know how this goes for you.
Cliff
Memberhttps://wpshindig.com/events/ is our demo site
https://wpshindig.com/events/feed/ works there.
I’d recommend trying your URLs on that site and see if this works by default.
I’d also double-check you don’t have any custom code on your site for things like “count” or “content” URL query arguments. My hunch is those aren’t arguments we’d build in support for.

MemberOkay, great! Thanks for letting me know. Have a great weekend.
Cliff
MemberGotcha. You might see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
There might be an error because of trying to use PHP within a JavaScript context.
That past forum thread I linked to explained how to do such customizing… you have to modify the single-event.php file in that same directory, particularly $additional_data so you can use it in the the tooltip.php file.
