MemberHi Nima. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Please make sure you’re on the latest version of all our plugins.
If that doesn’t solve the issue, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi Josh. I’m glad to hear your issue was solved. I was going to suggest checking for any theme overrides. Good find! đ

MemberAllison, thanks for creating your own thread at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/fatal-error-on-events-page/

Adam, I can tell based on the class name that’s throwing the error that you’re not on our latest version of PRO.
Please make sure to use the latest version of all our plugins and let me know if you’re still experiencing the issue.
Thanks!

MemberCarmen, I don’t speak Spanish, but if you’re having the same issue, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of your issue.
If it does not, please open your own thread so we can address each customer’s issues separately.
Thank you.

Desmond, how are you doing?
Cliff
MemberHi Bryan. Sorry this happened. It was a bug that has now been fixed.
Please manually rename the folder to ‘events-calendar-pro’.
Let me know how it goes for you.
Thanks!

MemberHi Olivier. Thanks for your question and the screenshot; it was helpful.
I understand what you’re asking, but we’re limited in helping with customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms. However, I can try to help point you in the right direction.
Basically, you’ll need to add some custom CSS (generated via PHP) or JavaScript to find the Post ID of the single Event page that you’re on and the Post ID of each of the Event List Widget items and — if they’re the same — hide that item from the Event List Widget.
Here is a screenshot from my local testing site that hopefully helps: http://cl.ly/0A0U2t0p2X0u
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our list of known customizers.

MemberAwesome! Thanks so much for the friendly update.
Cliff
MemberGeoff, sorry you’re experiencing these frustrations.
If you’re a current customer, please post in our paid forums, as previously stated.
If you’re not a paid customer, I’ll assume you’re only using our free/core plugin, for which any auto-update issues would be a result of WordPress.org, not our own plugin updating system.
As far as styling customizations, the best I can suggest is to get some CSS help from a friend, contact your theme’s author for support, or switch to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Fifteen.
I’m marking this thread as Closed. I wish you well! đ
Cliff
MemberAs outlined in our Scope of Support / Terms, your requests fall into the “no support for your own customizations” category.
As a help for your latest questions:
- try wrapping it in a <div> so that it gets display:block;
- the_excerpt()
We’re glad to help point you in the right direction for certain things, but you might best be served by contacting your developer or one of our known customizers.
Thanks for your understanding.

MemberHi Josh. Just checking back in…
March 17, 2016 at 3:13 pm in reply to: Clicking the next or previous month on the events page not working #1090686Cliff
MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
I visited that page and clicked one of the links and saw this console error at your site: http://cl.ly/3z3B1W071r35
I couldn’t reproduce this issue on my local testing site. Therefore, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberHi Josh. Please use our Event Tickets Plus plugin with WooCommerce, not our legacy WooTickets plugin (for which your license expired).
You can find your downloads at https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

Cliff
MemberHi. Thanks for your question.
That’s because you’re pulling in your “Thumbnail” size image. Your site’s Media Settings must have it set to 150×150 with a hard crop.
You can uncheck the hard crop option in Media Settings and then regenerate all thumbnails, or you could change
'thumbnail'in that code to another valid image size, like ‘medium’.The Simple Image Sizes plugin may be of use (third party, no guarantees).
I hope this helps with your customization.
March 17, 2016 at 2:55 pm in reply to: Plugin showing up twice in Dashboard and other oddities (folder did not rename) #1090667Cliff
MemberHi. Sorry you experienced this.
Of course, I can’t know your setups exactly (so “not it” if something bad happens đ but you should be able to:
- delete the plugins to get rid of both 4.0.7 and 4.1
- re-install version 4.1 to make sure you are only using the latest version (it was probably caused by the same issue as your live site — weird plugin folder name created and old folder not getting deleted)
- yes, you can rename the folders (or just delete them and re-install afresh)
You can download the latest versions at https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
I hope this helps. Sorry for the inconvenience. In case you’re wondering, the issue is resolved for future automatic updates.
