how prevent background image making text illegible?

Hello

When the page is re-sized the background image moves behind the events text and makes it almost impossible to read the text!

How to correct this? I guess that if the text was on a white background it would become legible..

PS this problem does not happen on the other pages of the website..

‘just a sign on desperation on my part as I cannot get answers in the forum!

I need a simple description of how to give the Events Calendar texts a white background + how to cope with the fact that when I try to update the Events Calendar I get Plugin update failed.

Can you tell me where I can get answers?!

Geoff, sorry you’re experiencing these frustrations.

If you’re a current customer, please post in our paid forums, as previously stated.

If you’re not a paid customer, I’ll assume you’re only using our free/core plugin, for which any auto-update issues would be a result of WordPress.org, not our own plugin updating system.

As far as styling customizations, the best I can suggest is to get some CSS help from a friend, contact your theme’s author for support, or switch to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Fifteen.
