We have many recurring events in our Events Calendar. Only recently have we begun seeing the following error each time we update an event. We see the error, get kicked out of the admin, and have to log back in. The changes save each time, thankfully.

warning message : Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Events__Main::rebuild_known_range() in /srv/bindings/bae0b7329c7d4e6b938b3f0f8e4560e1/code/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Queue_Processor.php on line 169 Warning: Attempted to clear more than 10 urls, truncating list in /srv/includes/pantheon.php on line 389

Hi Adam. Thanks for reporting this. I have seen others report this issue but wasn’t able to reproduce it on my local testing site.

Would you please share your System Information? That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for your system report.

You have The Events Calendar PRO version 4.0.5

Please update it to the latest version (currently 4.0.7)

Hopefully that’ll solve your issue. Please let me know how it goes.

We updated to the latest version and it did not resolve the issue. Any other ideas?

Hi. There’s a new latest version you should try. If you’re still experiencing the issue after updating, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

I am having the same issue. I just updated the plugin today and it didn’t fix it. Have you guys figured this one out yet?

You can see it here – it is on every event details page: http://thealleynewportbeach.com/event/bottomless-champagne-brunch-13/2016-03-19/

This is the error message: Fatal error: Call to undefined function tribe_events_single_event_meta() in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas03_data01/95/2355295/html/wp-content/themes/garnish/tribe-events/single-event.php on line 60

Allison, thanks for creating your own thread at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/fatal-error-on-events-page/

Adam, I can tell based on the class name that’s throwing the error that you’re not on our latest version of PRO.

Please make sure to use the latest version of all our plugins and let me know if you’re still experiencing the issue.

    Thanks!

Thanks Cliff and thanks Allison for your contribution here.

We have made a number of small custom edits in the code per our clients requests. If we upgrade to PRO, I am assuming we will lose all our changes – is that correct? If so that is something we’d like to avoid if you can think of any other possible solutions.

    Thanks!

Adam, if you have actually edited the core plugin files, ouch! That’s not the way to make customizations, as you’ve now realized.

If you’ve just used hooks (actions and filters), then updating should be much less painful.

If you did edit the actual plugin files, you might want to download a fresh copy of the version of our plugin you’re using (not our latest versions) and do a diff against the 2 copies (yours and a fresh version) to see what you’ve actually edited.

I hope all this info helps! 🙂

    We are getting this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Events__Main::rebuild_known_range() in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas09_data02/95/2749295/html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Queue_Processor.php on line 169

Also, top of wordpress says this:

The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 4.0. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Learn More.

    HOW DO WE FIX?

Steve, please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions:

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you. If it is, please open your own new thread and we’ll handle your issue specifically.

    Thanks!

Everything is up to date and the error is still occurring. Something else changed with the release and I need your help. Recurring events are broken.
