hide current event on

Hi i’m using the eventlist widget which display the 3 next events on my sidebar.
This sidebar is also used on the single event page to display other next events. What i need is to be able to hide the current event displayed on my single page from the widget.

For example if i display my next forthcoming event i still have it on my sidebar. Hope you understand what i need.

Hi Olivier. Thanks for your question and the screenshot; it was helpful.

I understand what you’re asking, but we’re limited in helping with customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms. However, I can try to help point you in the right direction.

Basically, you’ll need to add some custom CSS (generated via PHP) or JavaScript to find the Post ID of the single Event page that you’re on and the Post ID of each of the Event List Widget items and — if they’re the same — hide that item from the Event List Widget.

okay thanks, so there’s no option out of the box, i will ask my developper to create a condition in the widget.

This is something you should consider for a future update, specially if the widget is displayed in a single event page.
