MemberHi.
We don’t provide theming support, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
You might try playing with this setting: wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > “Events template” option — to see if changing it makes things work better for you.
If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest asking your theme author how-to for the tribe_events custom post type archive view.
Thanks!

MemberExcellent! Glad to hear and thanks for letting us know.
Cliff
MemberThanks for all the details.
Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/performance-considerations/ for general guidance on this topic.
For your specific case, installing https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us) and taking a screenshot of any slow queries or other issues it highlights might be a good starting point.
Please let me know what you find out.

MemberHi. I heard from team member Andras that you reported to him via Facebook that this issue is now resolved for you.
I let our developers know, but the attached bug report is part of a bigger bucket of fixes so I will leave this thread open until they consider the issue resolved.
Cliff
MemberAh, sorry I didn’t understand that before. Thanks for clarifying.
This functionality is not currently available, but you might want to add your vote to one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/31789591-ability-to-perform-a-csv-import-from-any-url
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Peter. Yes, this is still on our eventual to-do list. We do not have any other updates at this time. Sorry this functionality isn’t going to be available soon, but it is expected to be great once it’s available!
Cliff
MemberHi, Claude.
You can import CSV files for free, but you need Event Aggregator (EA) to import iCalendar URLs or .ics files.
Please reference:

and let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Erin. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
This isn’t currently a confirmed issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your live/production site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply.
That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi, Marcus. Thanks for the detailed question.
I’m not familiar with Loco Translate’s inner workings, but maybe the issue is with the way extension plugins are loaded. Does Loco Translate have a way to fire at a later priority or after a specific hook?
Or that may not come into play at all depending on how the translations are loaded, in which case I’d wonder if the issue happens for all other extensions (all load the same way) or if it happens for other plugins that aren’t our extensions.

MemberSorry to hear that, Alex.
Upon further thought, the WP Cron system should be triggered anytime your site receives visitors. Assuming lack of site visitors is the core issue to overcome here… Your server’s cronjob might be able to trigger this. You can reference the bit at the end of https://tommcfarlin.com/wordpress-cron-jobs/ for an idea how to implement this, using wget
Feel free to reply back after your imports start working again and after you give this server cronjob idea a try.
Thanks!
Cliff
MemberHi, Alex. So sorry for the delayed response here.
After discussing with a developer, Event Aggregator checks that a job is fired by a user who has permission to do so — so an anonymous-sort of cronjob from cPanel or wherever outside of WordPress would fail, as things are designed.
However, one idea is that this could be accomplished via WP CLI. Are you willing and able (with your hosting settings and your own technical ability) to consider implementing this via WP CLI?
If yes, this would need to be built, as the functionality does not currently exist. The developer was polling your interest in this direction before continuing.
Thank you.
