MemberI registered a new user account on your site: “mtcliff”
And visited http://groupemares.org/evenements/proposer/ajouter and I see the issue: https://cl.ly/3f2K3p2i1h1I
- Uncaught ReferenceError: tribe_events_linked_posts is not defined
- http://groupemares.org/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/js/events-admin.min.js?ver=4.2.7
I’d suggest following the Testing For Conflicts steps I outlined in my initial reply, keeping an eye out for this console error at the CE Add New URL. You’ll need to determine if it’s your theme or a specific plugin that, when deactivated, makes this console error go away.
P.S. Are you using the free version, available at https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-google-maps/?
Cliff
MemberGotcha. I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: Community Events: check submitted event venue against existing venues
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Would that solve both issues for you? If not, please let me know what else I’m not understanding about what you’re wanting.
Thank you.
Cliff
MemberOoh, tricky. I’m glad you were able to find it and that this was the solution you were looking for.
Have a great rest of your week.

MemberThanks for your patience, Jen.
We know a bunch of people will be happy when this is released!
Cliff
MemberIf I understand you correctly, the Community Events form works as expected (where it does display the Add Another Organizer option) when the WordPress Google Maps plugin is deactivated, correct?
If yes, please provide me a link to that plugin and to your Community Events “Add New” form.

MemberPlacing it at the bottom of your child theme’s functions.php would be best (assuming your child theme is the active theme, of course).
You might then need to clear caching on your site, your browser, etc.
It can also be good to switch to a different theme and then switch back to your Jupiter child theme right away to reset things (e.g. make sure your recently-edited functions.php is being loaded)
If it still won’t work for you, please do the same for the parent theme and activate the parent theme and I’d expect it to work (since it did for me on my local install that only tried it out with Jupiter parent theme).
Let me know how it goes for you.
Cliff
MemberNope!
Welcome to WordPress customizing…
Best practice for adding custom code (like to implement a PHP snippet to modify The Events Calendar) is to create a functionality plugin, unless it’s something specific to your theme, in which case best practice is to make sure you’re using a child theme, then add the customization to your child theme’s functions.php file.
That’s the detailed/technical answer, but the easiest (not saying it’s the best practice) is to open your active theme’s functions.php file and paste it in the bottom of that file (remember, without the starting <?php)
I hope this information helps!

MemberThanks for chiming in, Christian.
Scott, please let us know if the plugin from that other forum thread is what you were wanting.
Cliff
MemberHi Nicolas.
This isn’t a built-in feature, but I’ve heard of a plugin for duplicating TEC events: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-tec-event/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us)
You might be able to use it (or at least reference its code) to come up with something for your multisite setup.
Or, even easier, you might be able to just oEmbed the actual event, which should auto-link it to where you want it to go anyway!
Please let me know how things go for you, and please include a link to your event if you do request additional assistance.
Thanks!

MemberHi Renzo.
Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
We’ve had mixed reports. I personally tried it a few months ago and it worked, but a forum user stated it didn’t work with whatever X Theme settings/skins they were using.
You can install our free/core The Events Calendar plugin (which is required to run all our paid add-ons anyway) to test it for yourself.
If that works fine for you, all our add-ons should work just fine with it as well.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Cliff
MemberHi, Christophe. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
It looks like you’re using the latest versions of all our plugins and WordPress core, which is great.
Please, then, follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out. If you still need assistance with this, please also send a link to your Community Events form for me to view.
Thanks.

MemberHi Lara.
Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
I’m unfamiliar with Blackbaud, but I’d say no, not via an API.
However, if you can turn that data into a valid iCal feed, then you could use our iCal Importer (soon to be replaced by an even better Event Aggregator). Or if you can turn that data into CSVs, you could import using CSV, which is included free in The Events Calendar core/free plugin.
Note that PRO isn’t required for either of these import types (iCal or CSV), but, of course, it adds great functionality too!
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi. Sorry you had difficulties with this.
From your system information report, it looks like you have a really old version of the PRO add-on.
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please let us know how things are working for you. Thanks.
Cliff
MemberThe Filter Bar “exposes” these links (i.e. makes them easy for you to find).
Then you can copy these links and manually create your own WordPress Menu with all these links that you want to showcase as “Events by State” or however you want to word that.
I hope this clarifies things. If not, let me know.
Cliff
MemberPlease clarify which of these things is the issue you’re trying to solve:
- users can see Venues created by others (when you think they shouldn’t be visible to these users)
- or users are creating duplicate Venues (likely because they cannot see the Venues created by others)
