MemberHi, Pau.
Assuming you’re using The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, yes, this is possible.
Please let me know if your project will be using The Events Calendar and I can provide extra details.
Cliff
MemberRereading your request, I think you might be looking for this: tribe_get_related_posts(), which can be customized via the tribe_related_posts_args filter.
You can see this code snippet for a possible starter template to your own customization:
https://gist.github.com/elimn/1e6797dd1a5d8ee666c5
If I’m not mistaken, the Related Events already looks for events within the same Event Category.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Jeremy.
Would you please link to your site where you’d like this to be in effect and also link to where you’d like it to go (e.g. linking to another category)?
If you share an annotated screenshot or video screen capture, it might help communicate what you’re seeing and what exactly the request is.

MemberHi, Francesco.
I read https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/some-events-does-not-appear-in-search-results/#post-1240911 and its following post.
You might try playing with this setting: wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > “Events template” option — to see if changing it makes things work better for you.
If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest asking your theme author how-to for the tribe_events custom post type archive view.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberHi. I haven’t heard of anyone using https://wordpress.org/plugins/bnfw/ with our plugins, but if you specify exactly what you’re looking for and when / in what scenario(s)–e.g. what type of email is sent, like when an Event is created–I might be able to dig into this a bit more for you.
Please let me know.

MemberHi, Erica.
You (or your developer) should have these references:
- Themer’s Guide
- is_post_type_archive( Tribe__Events__Main::POSTTYPE ) — see https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_post_type_archive/
Now that that’s out of the way, I’d suggest you try changing wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > Events template option and see if that helps.
If it doesn’t, please provide a link to the page you’re wanting changed and exactly what you want changed and I might be able to provide you a quick code solution.
You might also want to pass along the bulleted information above and see if your theme author could help you if we can’t or if you prefer a solution specific to your theme.
Just let me know how you think I could best help you here.

MemberHi, Hannu. Thanks for considering our plugin suite!
We have this information regarding translations:
- Translating the premium plugins
- Translating The Events Calendar (free/core plugin)
- How to Override Plugin Language Files (custom language files on your own site)
- Customizing/Changing any bit of text (actual code snippet is at the very bottom)
Now to your specific questions:
1)
Some of our plugins’ code (not ET+ at this time) is compatible with WPML, but it’s not 100% and it’s not necessarily guaranteed to always be up-to-date, although this hopefully will get better in time as WPML’s code gets the major upgrade (next version) that’s expected. Also, it’s a pretty heavy lift for us to integrate. I wish I had a warm-fuzzy answer for you, but I’m trying to be as up-front as possible.
For the official information, please see these WPML KB references: https://theeventscalendar.com/?s=wpml&submit=Search&post_type%5B%5D=tribe-knowledgebase
2)
I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/5368470-ticket-bundles-multiple-event-passes
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
3)
We don’t have our own dedicated scanning app, but you can reference https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/bulk-scanning-qr-codes-should-be-an-option-to-avoid-errors/ for a user recommendation that seems to be quite robust.
4)
Yes. We’d advise you to basically submit the order through the front-end of your own site, just like they could but you doing it for them. This way the available stock will update and your eCommerce solution will handle the taxes/fees (if any) for you like it should.
5)
Each event with tickets gets an Attendees Report. This plugin can help have more of a one-place-view-all solution, but it’s a quickie plugin, not something fully supported/guaranteed to be updated.
See https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/ for all the details of the per-event Attendees Report, which is officially supported since it’s part of ET/ET+ instead of a quickie plugin.

You might be interested in our Bundles for discounted pricing if you’re planning to buy more than just ET+.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Cliff
MemberHi, Oliver. Sorry to hear that. If there’s an issue or several we can help resolve, please create a forum thread per issue. Otherwise, please complete our Refund Request Form.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi, Ken.
Thanks for your question and the helpful screenshot.
You can reference Understanding and customizing the Tribe Events Bar. Also, the “Events In” text comes from https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.4.2/src/Tribe/Main.php#L4141
You can refer to this code snippet to customize the text to what you’re wanting:

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
Cliff
MemberSorry for the confusion here.
You can see your order history at the bottom of https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/
I cannot re-purchase an item for you that’s already been refunded, but I can tell you that your account does currently have Events Calendar PRO (Order #1241875) but not Event Tickets Plus (ET+) (Order #1240772, refunded).
I hope purchasing ET+ is easy and provides you with a working solution.
Please note that we also have a few Bundles for bulk-purchase discounted pricing. If you decide you’d like a bundle, just purchase the one you want and let me know to refund #1241875 after you make sure you’re satisfied with the Bundle you choose.
Cliff
MemberMilos, we do not have this functionality, but you might be able to override this widget’s output yourself (reference our Themer’s Guide).
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
February 20, 2017 at 6:08 pm in reply to: Events Ticket Plus – What’s the process for scanning/managing QR Code Tickets? #1242599Cliff
MemberFrom the thread I linked to, to check someone in via QR code:
- login to WordPress in the browser that the QR scanner will use (e.g. its own browser, Safari, Chrome, etc), as an Editor or Administrator
- scan the QR code
If this isn’t working for you, then I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberHi, William.
You could get an array of unique Venue post IDs and unique Organizer post IDs from the post_meta of your Events post types… then compare those post IDs to all the Venue post type post IDs and run wp_delete_post() for each one that is not used by an Event.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberHi, Roman.
I see you’re using this theme: https://themeforest.net/item/werkstatt-creative-portfolio-theme/17870799
I haven’t ever seen issues like this before, but I also haven’t seen anyone else reporting they’re using this theme.
Since such display issues aren’t currently a known issue, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
