Is there mouse over on Events Calendar widget on Version 4.4.2 like on 2.0.13 version?

Thanks for the detailed question, including the screenshots.

There is no longer hover functionality in that widget. It was deliberately removed, partly for UX reasons, especially for mobile users (would require a tap instead of a mouseover).

Because mouse over function was disabled is there a way to have content displayed in pop-up window instead of listing events underneath the calendar?

Milos, we do not have this functionality, but you might be able to override this widget’s output yourself (reference our Themer’s Guide).

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
