That site you referenced is using a widget from Boxy Studios. They have created a widget to include with their themes that works with the Events Calendar.

Category Views
The plugin does create a Category View for each Event Category with the main views of month, list, map, etc…

For example if you have an event category of Lettuce the url is this:

yoursite.com/events/category/lettuce/

So that is one way to show only events from one category.

Other Shortcodes
There is the Event Rocket Plugin an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that has shortcodes in it:

That might help out.

3rd Party Tutorial
There is also this tutorial from a 3rd party that shows how to modify the list view to get a different look.

You could use that with the list view widget shortcode to display events by category on any page then.

Hi Nick,

Sorry for the continued issues here. It is a strange situation where I can test in an iPhone 6 and it works and you are having issues with the same device. So I am unclear what is going on here and found no other reports of this issues so I am not sure what to fix.

Have you tried that coding in my other response to redirect to list view on mobile devices? That would at least give your site a working view on mobile devices so your visitors can get the correct content.

I will ask around the support team and have them all visit the site and see if we can find the source of this.

Ok thanks for the information about all the phones.

I was able to test on an iPhone 6 as well an strangely enough it worked again for me.

These are the screenshots from it:

I could click on the dates and change months and did not see any issues unfortunately. So I am still not clear what is causing this.

Redirect Month View to List View
Since it is unclear the cause of this and I cannot find any other reports on it yet this snippet could help out in the mean time.

This snippet added to your theme’s functions.php will redirect mobile users to the list view.

However, it looks like WP Minify might be causing the issue. Can you please clear that cache or try with it turned off and see if that resolves the issue.

In Pro you can edit venues, which control the address for an event. There you can add the address or if you need to also edit the longitude and latitude to specify a specific point.

I looked through your requirements and it could be possible to do what you are looking for, but not out of the box.

All the special pricing requirements you have is not part of the plugin so you would have to write php code to achieve that.

For the 3.11 update I do not believe we renamed any div ids or classes so I do not believe that is the cause.
