Prior to the recent update on the event entry page when i enter in the ‘costs’ box multiple ticket prices $800, $580, $280, $180 (formatted exactly like that) then all would appear in the top left on the single event page

After the update only the first ‘cost’ entered appears.
You can see the problem here only the $1 appears http://www.bcmagazine.net/bc/event/elton-john-all-the-hits/
The multiple tickets prices below ware typed in the description box – it’s also exactly how the prices are entered into the ‘costs’ box

Most events have multiple tickets prices and this change is most illogical.

I have tried turning off all the various plugins I use but that makes no difference

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having with this. I can help out.

We modified the cost field to remove characters as it was breaking in other parts of the plugin.

However, I have a snippet you can add to your theme’s functions.php to bring back the old functionality:

I tested on my site with your example and it worked for me.

Let me know how that works out.

    Thanks

    Hi Brian

Thanks that seems to work fine

By ‘characters’ do you mean $ and ‘,’?

I can understand $ if the program adds $ infront of each price automatically. But in removing ‘,’ how are you to split multiple prices? And far more event shave multiple costs than have a single cost.

The code snippet fixes the problem, but perhaps some clarification and formatting options for the ‘costs’ box could be added to the faq.

    Glad it helps.

By characters I mean everything that is not a number and it was originally designed to be a single number.

I will see what we can do to add more information about this to the site.

Since that snippet works for you I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.

    Thanks
