ParticipantHi guys!
This question is probably already asked, but I’m lost in this forum and can’t find what I’m searching for, sorry.
I am building a website for a primary school. For every class I made a category in the Events Calendar. Because every class gets their own page with their news and events. I would like to have a week view on every class-page. So I need to implement the agenda by category on a page. How can I do that?
Hope to hear soon from you, many thanks in advance!

MemberHi Lotte,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help answer your question.
Unfortunately, We do not have a way to embed the main event views (month, week, map, list, etc) in other pages. They can only be view in the archives we create for them.
With Pro we have the 4 Widget ShortCodes:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
There is the Event Rocket Plugin an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that has shortcodes in it:
That could help as well.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
Thanks for your reply!
I’m quite disappointed. I spend 180 dollars to buy the PRO version and the filter bar, and I can’t show a category on a specific page…
Isn’t it possible to make something by php? This website for example has a week-view on the homepage (beyond the slider) http://ebenhaezerschoolkamerik.nl/ and uses also TEC.
Thanks in advance.

MemberHi,
Sorry to disappoint, we do offer refunds within 30 days if you our product turns out it will not work for you.
That site you referenced is using a widget from Boxy Studios. They have created a widget to include with their themes that works with the Events Calendar.
Category Views
The plugin does create a Category View for each Event Category with the main views of month, list, map, etc…For example if you have an event category of Lettuce the url is this:
yoursite.com/events/category/lettuce/
So that is one way to show only events from one category.
Other Shortcodes
There is the Event Rocket Plugin an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that has shortcodes in it:That might help out.
3rd Party Tutorial
There is also this tutorial from a 3rd party that shows how to modify the list view to get a different look.https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/horizontal-list-widget/
You could use that with the list view widget shortcode to display events by category on any page then.
That is about all I can think of helping on getting events on other pages.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
