And they (the orders) are definitely being marked as “complete” in the WooCommerce orders screen?

I am seeing some issues with Week View but not quite what you are describing – can you point me to a URL where I can see what you are, so I can be sure I’m understanding the issue correctly?

    Hi wwa,

Sorry for the delay: that’s definitely a strange issue. Have you been able to try our standard troubleshooting steps here, of disabling all plugins except for those by Modern Tribe and switching temporarily to a default, unmodified theme?

Does that make any difference/does it allow you to isolate either your theme or another plugin as the cause of this?

Hi Eric, sorry for any confusion!

I have debug mode unchecked though I’m getting “TEC Debug” messages in my browser console.

That setting exists to log additional information to your server’s PHP error log and is I believe a distinct and separate system from the TEC Debug messages you are seeing in your browser’s console.

Are those messages problematic on any level for you?

For the monthly view, the next and previous links cause the page to use AJAX even though I have “Use Javascript to control page load” turned off.

So this setting relates to the live refresh mode rather than the use of ajax in general (ie, allowing content to be updated as changes are made to the event bar, without users having to hit the Find Events button).

We tried to make that clearer by adding the additional descriptive text Enable ajax to live refresh content but if this is still unclear we’re definitely open to any suggestions as to making it clearer yet.

Not at all – and especial thanks to Laura from our side also. Since I think we’re all good here I’m going to go ahead and close this thread, of course please feel free to create new ones if you require anything further 🙂

Is WooCommerce activated as well as being installed? If they are both present and activated everything ought to be good to go – but please let me know if that’s not what you are experiencing and if you are unable to create and view tickets.

Hi ginamwgallery – can you confirm if any emails are going out (such as the regular notification generated by WooCommerce or password reset emails generated by WordPress itself)?

If they are not (and I do appreciate you’ve tried some of this already) can you try deactivating all plugins including ours but leaving WooCommerce activated – then make a test purchase and see if you get the order confirmation email at that point.

What I’m basically interested in determining is if this is A) an environmental problem that relates to your web hosting environment B) a problem with WooCommerce, or another plugin/your theme conflicting with WooCommerce or C) relates specifically to our WooCommerce Tickets (“WooTickets”) plugin.

    Thanks!

You should be able to do this by overriding the tickets/email.php template and adding your customization in there (please see our themer’s guide for an overview of the template override process) … does that help?

Sure thing, I’m just waiting to hear back from one of the core devs – as soon as that happens I’ll update this thread and may ask that you test a revised snippet.

Thanks again for your patience and support 🙂

How about overriding the WooCommerce cart/cart-empty.php template? You could then link to whatever you like.

Absolutely. Most of us on the team also have our own clients and so we understand the pressures you and many of our customers face. Glad you’re sorted – I’ll close this thread and look forward to seeing you around the forum 🙂

bmitchellini: again, I’m sorry we haven’t met your expectations in this regard.

Re the maps issue in this thread our developer wished to see a live example of the problem to help progress things, if that’s still not possible I’m not sure there is much else we can offer, but we’re here to help as and when you want to move it forward. If for instance you can demonstrate the problem in the context of a testing site then definitely post a link in that thread – and we will do what we can.

I also appreciate we didn’t make the link between the issue you reported here and a widely reported issue for which we made a fix available. That was an error on my part and again I can only apologize for the inconvenience. The important thing is that you found the fix and that it is now resolved.

Last but not least you are correct that we were unable to assist with the Name Your Price plugin. We don’t guarantee being able to resolve conflicts with third party plugins, but I did take the time to test it out. Unfortunately it wasn’t simple to replicate the problem – which as you’ll understand makes it hard to troubleshoot and offer up ideas.

All of that I am sure amounts to quite a bit of frustration on your side, some of which may have been avoidable on our part, and for that I can only say sorry.

Ok – would it be possible for you to share your theme (by linking to a downloadable .zip – whether uploaded to your own site or using a service like Droplr or Dropbox)? I can’t guarantee anything but I’d be happy to take a look.

Not a huge fan of the current setup between the two or the search bar on the main calendar page. This bar seems to be the logical place to install a button linking to the community forums. Thanks for passing it along Barry.

We’re definitely open to suggestions and would definitely encourage you to post them on our UserVoice page:

    https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas

If you want to go a step further you could post a request and then reply here with a link to it – that might encourage other users to show their support for the same thing.

That’s valuable from our point of view because there are a number of possible ways we could build and extend this and other plugins – but it doesn’t always make sense to do so (some people may find what you have asked for undesirable or think that there is a better home than the search bar, for instance, and it is difficult to cater to everyone).

With all that said, do post your requests – we are certainly listening 🙂

(@brownjm: since the forum is visible to everyone I went ahead and removed your email address from your above reply – if you prefer it remain visible for any reason do feel free to post it a second time)
