I installed wootickets and it looks like it’s installed but i don’t see where i can activate it, I am getting a message at the top “To begin using WooTickets, please install the latest version of WooCommerce.” but i have the latest version installed. I’m not sure what i should do at this point?
Is WooCommerce activated as well as being installed? If they are both present and activated everything ought to be good to go – but please let me know if that’s not what you are experiencing and if you are unable to create and view tickets.
yes they are both activated, but i don’t see anything about creating or viewing tickets. i still get To begin using WooTickets, please install the latest version of WooCommerce.
How strange, and – just to cover all the bases – you’ve also got an up-to-date copy of The Events Calendar installed and activated (I’m guessing you do, since if not you ought to see a different message, but I just want to be sure)?
Actually i did not have Events Calendar installed, i didn’t see that in the requirements. I set up an event and a ticket but now i have a new problem, i’m receiving a wootickets error. http://www.sonshineopry.com/?tribe_events=sonshine-opry
Ah hah, ok well that’s an important dependency. We’ll try to make that clearer in the messaging as obviously what you saw (“Activate WooCommerce…”) was a bit misleading.
Regarding your new problem that’s a known issue and we’re sorry for the inconvenience. I did post a sticky linking to a workaround which should resolve this until our next maintenance release arrives.
