    Hello Daniel,

Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry about this issue.

To be able to help you sort this out could you please share with me some more details?

What is / are the URL/s you are trying to fetch?

Please send me a screenshot of:

    • how the scheduled import is set up
    • the error messages
    • of your Event Aggregator System Status under Events > Help

Is this happening to all of your scheduled imports or only some / one of them?

Please also share your system information with me.

How long has this been happening?

    Thanks,
    Andras

    Hi Heikki,

    Thanks for reaching out!

When you log into your site via FTP do you see that “tmp” directory? Can you check if the permissions for that folder are also 775?

If “tmp” is not there you can try to manually create it with 775 permissions and check if that helps.

    Let me know what gives.

    Grüezi,

Thanks for reaching out with your question. Let me try to help you out here.

Do I understand correctly that you need to reroute the URL because the real feed url is the destination one, and

    example.com/ics/venue/export.ics

is used to make it simple? If not, then can you give me more details on why the rerouting is done?

Can you share with me some urls of the exports so I can check and test?

It might be possible to remove the export links for TEC if that would be a workaround for you.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Thanks Ruta!

I have started running some tests, it will require a couple of days to see if the recurrences are generated for me. I will get back to you as soon as I have something.

Until then if you get to the situation where you need to generate the new occurrences, please try the process I detailed above. Here it is again:

Go to Tools > Cron Events. In the row that starts with ‘tribe-recurrence-cron’ click on ‘Run Now’ and check after the success message if the new instances were created or not.

I’m sorry it didn’t go through right before. Here it is anew: https://cloudup.com/cDoXRgc8CdP

You can get this info from the database by creating a recurring event, then selecting from wp_postmeta the entries where the ‘post_id’ = the ID of the recurrence.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi artsites,

Thanks for getting back to me with your findings.

That indicates that the theme you are using causes a conflict somewhere. This could be the use of an older version of a javascript or jQuery. And also might have some custom modifications for the search.

I would recommend you to get in touch with the developers of the theme and share your findings with them. Hopefully they will be able to provide you with a fix or at least some pointers on how this could be solved.

Let me know about your progress with them and I will help you out if I can.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Greg,

I got two small pieces of news for you.

Yesterday we have published a maintenance release which has a fix for the issue with the “stock reducing each time you navigate to the edit event page”.

I would recommend testing the updates on a staging site first and if that works than doing it on your live site.

Whether you are using a staging site or not, please make a full backup of your site (files and database) before running any updates, just in case.

Once the update of all the plugins is done, please check if you are still experiencing the issue you described in this ticket.

The other piece of news is: I was investigating your case and spent quite some time digging in your database dump and fired up a test site with it. So far I haven’t been able to find what causes those tickets to show up as “pending review”. I will try to get a 2nd pair of eyes on this and will let you know if we find anything.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Guten Morgen Gesine,

Yes, you are absolutely right in that. I already started another test to try to figure this one out. I will share with you the results as I go.

With the first test I set up 2-3 days ago (importing your calendar with Osterferien) I was not able to reproduce the issue. Even after the second day the whole event is where it should be, it wasn’t moved.

This can be a sign that our plugin is working well, and that this glitch might be specific to your site. I’m running the 2nd test to fully confirm this. I set up a multi-day event starting from tomorrow in a test gCal and I set up a daily import. In 1-2 days, once the event starts, we will see what happens.

In the meantime I would have couple more questions for you:

Does this behavior happen to all your multi-day events, or only some, or only to Osterferien?

    Are the non-multi-day events OK?

Could you possible share with me a screenshot of how Osterferien is set up in gCal? If there is sensitive information in it than you can share it in a private reply. Then only you and our support team will have access to it.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Lorraine,

Meanwhile I was able to do some investigation and testing. I believe I have found the issue you described. Can you confirm it’s this one:

When saving / updating the event in a secondary language, then the connected venue / organizer will always be the main language version one.

Also, if this was working properly before the update, then I recommend you to roll back to those versions until we can get a fix out for this.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello Ian,

Thanks for reaching out and considering our plugins.

You posted some great questions, let me try to help you out here.

class management (display, registration/booking, management of attendance)…

Our free core plugin, The Events Calendar will provide you with a basic calendar and event management tools.

For basic registration and ticket sales functionalities you will need to add Event Tickets as well (also free) that will allow your users to register and / or buy tickets for the different events. It has built in support for PayPal, but not for Stripe. (More on that below.)

For advanced functionalities, like collecting extra info from the users and using different payment gateways you will need our premium plugin, Event Tickets Plus.

    Stripe payment enabled

Stripe payment is not directly supported by our plugins. However, you can use WooCommerce to manage the ticket sales (you will still need ET and ET+), and then you can use any payment gateway that WooCommerce supports.

Prepaid passes with either limited number of access valid for one year, or unlimited valid for 3 months

This you could achieve with WooCommerce. You can set up products for these types and sell those. Note though that these will not be directly connected to the events, so managing event capacity automatically with prepaid passes is not possible.

Ability to display aggregated calendar of our activities, and if possible a per activity calendar

You can add as many events to the calendar as you want. The main calendar will display all events. You can also assign different categories to the events and you can then show the calendar of different categories.

Ability to manage non-reoccurring workshops (events),

This is the core functionality, though I would need to know more details on what you mean by “ability to manage”.

Ability to signup without creating and account would be a plus as it deters prospects

This is possible with our plugins, though when purchasing a ticket to an event they will still need to provide basic details like name, address, phone number, email, but account creation can be omitted.

Customers’ able to reserve a class in the schedule

This is possible either through the RSPV functionality of Event Tickets or through creating tickets with zero as the price.

Customer is able to signup a guest

Users can submit as many RSVP’s and add as many tickets to their shopping cart, as they want.

I would like to draw your attention to our test site, where you can check how all that works on the front end.

While we do not provide fully working demo versions of our plugins, we do have a 30-day no-questions-asked money-back policy. If you purchase a license to our plugins you can basically test drive them for 30 days. If you find that they are not a good fit you can get your money back.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello Lorraine,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. I’m really sad to hear that the update brought back some issues with WPML.

I’m sorry if this affects your live site. We always recommend our users to test the plugin updates on a staging site first, before updating a live site. This way if the update comes with bugs despite our best efforts at least the live site remains unaffected.

Do I understand correctly that the issue is, that you cannot choose a secondary language venue for a secondary language event?

last year you charged me 4 installs for just 2 sites (1 personal plus 1 business). What is going on?

Could you please give me more details on what happened? We definitely do not intend to double charge or shortchange our users. I would be happy to look into the case.

We have different license level, which you might be aware of. “Personal” for 1 site, “Business” for 3 sites, and so on. And you have the chance to upgrade or downgrade your license any time. If you can give me more details on your case I can do some investigation and see if we can do something about it.

    Best,
    Andras
