Pdf tickets: tmp folder not writable

I ran into an identical problem as reported in this post:
PDF Tickets – temporary directory confirmation

When I try to open a pdf ticket, the only thing I get is a blank page and some errors in the WordPress log file:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Mpdf\MpdfException: Temporary files directory "--- mpdf/src/Config/../../tmp" is not writable

The plugin has not created the tmp folder. The permissions for the plugins folder are already 775.

Thanks for reaching out!

When you log into your site via FTP do you see that “tmp” directory? Can you check if the permissions for that folder are also 775?

If “tmp” is not there you can try to manually create it with 775 permissions and check if that helps.

Hi,

I had forgotten the issue for a while. Now I tested it again, and the problem seems to have disappeared.
In the meantime I have installed php mbstring because that was missing, not sure if that should have any effect. I don’t remember if there have been any updates for the event plugins, but at least now I have the most recent versions installed.
