    Hi,
We are operating a wellness studio and are exploring for an alternative to the solution we’re using. We looked a Karmasoft, Mindbody, Punchpass, etc.
Our main requirements other than the obvious class management (display, registration/booking, management of attendance) are:

    • Prepaid passes with either limited number of access valid for one year, or unlimited valid for 3 months,
    • Ability to display aggregated calendar of our activities, and if possible a per activity calendar,
    • Stripe payment enabled,
    • Ability to manage non-reoccurring workshops (events),
    • Ability to signup without creating and account would be a plus as it deters prospects,
    • Customers’ able to reserve a class in the schedule
    • Customer is able to signup a guest,
    • to name a few.

Thank you for your guidance… it’s just difficult to judge whether a solution fits the bill when we do not fully understand it. đŸ˜‰

    Thank you,
    Ian

    Hello Ian,

Thanks for reaching out and considering our plugins.

You posted some great questions, let me try to help you out here.

class management (display, registration/booking, management of attendance)…

Our free core plugin, The Events Calendar will provide you with a basic calendar and event management tools.

For basic registration and ticket sales functionalities you will need to add Event Tickets as well (also free) that will allow your users to register and / or buy tickets for the different events. It has built in support for PayPal, but not for Stripe. (More on that below.)

For advanced functionalities, like collecting extra info from the users and using different payment gateways you will need our premium plugin, Event Tickets Plus.

    Stripe payment enabled

Stripe payment is not directly supported by our plugins. However, you can use WooCommerce to manage the ticket sales (you will still need ET and ET+), and then you can use any payment gateway that WooCommerce supports.

Prepaid passes with either limited number of access valid for one year, or unlimited valid for 3 months

This you could achieve with WooCommerce. You can set up products for these types and sell those. Note though that these will not be directly connected to the events, so managing event capacity automatically with prepaid passes is not possible.

Ability to display aggregated calendar of our activities, and if possible a per activity calendar

You can add as many events to the calendar as you want. The main calendar will display all events. You can also assign different categories to the events and you can then show the calendar of different categories.

Ability to manage non-reoccurring workshops (events),

This is the core functionality, though I would need to know more details on what you mean by “ability to manage”.

Ability to signup without creating and account would be a plus as it deters prospects

This is possible with our plugins, though when purchasing a ticket to an event they will still need to provide basic details like name, address, phone number, email, but account creation can be omitted.

Customers’ able to reserve a class in the schedule

This is possible either through the RSPV functionality of Event Tickets or through creating tickets with zero as the price.

Customer is able to signup a guest

Users can submit as many RSVP’s and add as many tickets to their shopping cart, as they want.

I would like to draw your attention to our test site, where you can check how all that works on the front end.

While we do not provide fully working demo versions of our plugins, we do have a 30-day no-questions-asked money-back policy. If you purchase a license to our plugins you can basically test drive them for 30 days. If you find that they are not a good fit you can get your money back.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Cheers,
    Andras

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
