KeymasterHallo Olaf,
Wäre es okay für dich wenn if auf Englisch schreibe? Du kannst auf Deutsch antworten, es wäre mir ein bischen einfacher. Wenn du kein Englisch sprichts dann kann ich auch auf Deutsch antworten.
As a first it would be great if you could run a conflict test. I understand that can be difficult on a live site. In this case you can use a plugin like Health Check, this will help you run the conflict test without your visitors noticing anything.
If you don’t find anything than please share some screenshots or a screen recording of the issue, so that I can see.
Danke und Grüsse

KeymasterHello mkrasmussen,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear about these incompatibilities. Let me try to help you with this one.
As a first it would be really helpful if you could share some screenshots or a screen recording so that I can get a better picture of what is happening and what is missing. A before-after comparison wold be best.
Since this is a newly reported issue and involves third party plugins as well I’m not sure yet how long this will take to resolve. Until that is done what you can do as a workaround is to roll back to previous version of our plugins to get the functionality back.
Please note, when rolling back it is best to keep the versions aligned, so roll back all calendar plugins. The matching version numbers can be found in our blog posts where we announce the maintenance releases.
You say “past few weeks”, I would probably start with these numbers:
- TEC 4.6.19
- PRO 4.4.28
- ET 4.7.4.1
- ET+ 4.7.4
Best would be to test the rollback first on a staging site. And creating backups is always recommended.

KeymasterHi icekun91,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can limit event submission to logged in users if you want. That setting can be found under Events > Settings > Community tab.
If the logged in user has the capability of edit_post, then they can submit an event.
Does this answer your question? Let me know.

KeymasterHi Kendall,
Again, I’m really sorry about this.
We have a similar bug logged in our system. I will add your ticket to it and raise the priority.
In the meantime you can try 2 things:
Add the following snippet to your (child) theme’s functions.php file:
add_filter( ‘tribe_tickets_attendees_admin_expire’, ‘custom_tickets_attendees_expire’ );
add_filter( ‘tribe_tickets_attendees_expire’, ‘custom_tickets_attendees_expire’ );
function custom_tickets_attendees_expire () {
return 0;
}
Check if that makes them appear.
If that doesn’t do the trick, then after creating a full backup, try rolling back to an earlier version of the plugins:
- TEC: “4.6.12x”,
- PRO: “4.4.24.2x”,
- ET: “4.6.3.1”,
- ET+: “4.6.2”
It would be best if you could try this on a staging / test site first.
Let me know the result of these.

KeymasterHi Lance,
I checked with my colleague and try to find something connected to the domain name but we were unsuccessful.
At this moment the only thing I can recommend is setting up a new account and getting a new license.
Also, check your mailbox in a bit. 😉
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterOkay, I will leave this thread open still, so you can report back how the testing went.
If there is no movement here for 3 weeks, then it will be closed automatically. If you still need help after that, then you simply create a new topic and reference this one if needed.
Hope all goes well.
Cheers,

KeymasterI would only recommend deleting that line right after you duplicate the event.
If you delete it for an event that already has some sales, that could cause some serious misalignment in sales data, which is nearly impossible to undo.
There is more information saved with the tickets (price for example is saved with the tickets and not with the event), but if you are not duplicating the tickets themselves, but creating them from scratch, you should be safe.
Please note that this is a kind of a hack, so I cannot guarantee that it works 100% as intended, and we cannot recover data if something goes wrong. I would recommend you to test this approach first on a test site and if you feel comfortable that it works and it suites your needs, then implement the approach on your live site. And create regular backups. 🙂

KeymasterAwesome!
We’d be grateful if you would give us feedback on your satisfaction with support. Just click on one of the classy looking emojis below. 🙂 If you can spare a few words, that’s even better.
Thanks and have a fantastic day!

KeymasterHappy to hear the update solved it. Awesome!
And thanks for pointing out that glitch in the article. I believe it was there before .org had an update about a year ago or so.
Now the previous version can be found on the Advanced page of the plugins, here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/advanced/
I’ll go ahead and update that article.
Can we close this as resolved or is there anything else related to this?

KeymasterHi Lance,
When a license key is entered then the domain name will be registered with the license key. This can be changed, in case you move to a different domain of if you use a staging site.
Unfortunately however I wasn’t able to find any entries with that domain name. Might be that the license key was never entered.
Without any further details I’m afraid I’m not able to help you recover any information on this.
PRO version 4.4.3 was more than a year ago (Feb. 2017). It is very likely that the license has expired since then. For a plugin update the license would need to be renewed. It might make sense for your friend to purchase a new license and register an account with her name and email address.
I will still try to check one angle. My hunch is though that even if I find something, a license renewal will be required.

KeymasterHi Lauren,
Yes, basically the issue is the same with all duplication plugins.
What you can do is after duplicating an event you go to your database and manually delete the ‘_tribe_progressive_ticket_current_number’ entry for that event in the wp_postmeta table.
Or you cajole the 3rd party plugin developers to implement that in their plugin. 🙂
1. We are toying with the idea of creating something that would allow the duplication of events, possibly venues and organizers as well. But not tickets. We are still in the exploratory phase of this and there is no timeline set, so it can still take a while.
2. There is no workaround for this at the moment unfortunately. What you can do is what I described above, manually delete that entry.
I have a thought on this though. If there would be a button on the edit event screen that would delete this entry for you, would that help? ( I’ll explore it a bit and will let you know.)

July 11, 2018 at 2:09 am in reply to: Does Event Aggregator Support Importing Recurring Events from iCal? #1572357Andras
KeymasterHi taeweb,
Thanks for the clarification!
I did some further investigation and came across a bug regarding this. As a result recurrences are not being imported at the moment. One of our developers is already on the case and hopefully we can release the fix soon. Please hang in there.
I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out.
Thanks and cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterNo worries about the delay. Hope you’re doing OK.
Thanks for the info, I will need some time to investigate a bit.
A database export in .sql, .zip or .gzip would be handy, yes. Thank you!

July 11, 2018 at 1:12 am in reply to: Giving Users the option to select paypal or stripe on community tickets #1572339Andras
KeymasterThanks for clarifying, Colm!
No, unfortunately that is not possible out of the box.
A possible workaround:
I believe there is a WooCommerce plugin that lets you limit the payment gateways based on different cirteria. I think it’s the Conditional Shipping & Payments plugin.
With this you can limit the payment gateway based on product category or users.
When a user submits an event you can ask them to choose a category for payment (stripe or paypal).
Unfortunately the event category doesn’t automatically transfer over to the ticket / product category, so you would need to do some custom dev for that.
If you have a rule set up based on product category then automatically the selected gateway will be available.
I’m not sure about your process for this, alternatively you can limit the gateway per user. That would work if you pre-agree with them.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterThanks for the kind words on the updates. Our team put a lot of effort in it.
I will put your request in the customization queue and when we get a chance someone will take a look at it. Hang in there.
And of course, if you bump into any issues, please open a new thread and we’ll help you out.
Cheers,
