KeymasterHey Rocky,
I’m not looking to remove the list view on the homepage
Sure thing. With the ‘Default Page Template’ setting you will be able to get rid of the sidebar next to the calendar. My understanding was that you’d like to achieve this.
To get a Google Calendar URL to import:
- go to the Google Calendar
- on the top right corner click on the cogwheel, then on ‘Settings’
- on top left choose ‘Calendars’
- Select the calendar you want to import
- In the ‘Private Address’ line look for the green ‘Ical’ button. Right click on that and choose ‘Copy Link Location’ (or similar, differs by browser)
Now you should have the URL in your clipboard, just need to paste it in.

KeymasterHi Matthew,
Thanks for sharing the screenshots.
I tried to recreate the issue with exactly the same settings but I couldn’t.
If you set up a new event with the same rules do you still get the same result?
A note: based on my experience it is best to have the WordPress timezone set up as a city name like New York, if that is your timezone. The reason is that the UTC-4 timezone will always give you the UTC-4 time and that doesn’t take DST into account. And I would do the same for the events.

KeymasterOh, I didn’t realize that until now, thanks for bringing my attention to that.
Not quite sure what that is like that. Let me check with my colleagues and I will get back to you on that to see at least if that is a limitation of the REST API (which is being used to fetch events from other TEC calendars) or something else.

KeymasterHello Edward,
Thanks for reaching out!
How / where are you showing your blog posts?
Are you using a page builder perhaps? Sometimes pagebuilders and some themes handle the blog loop differently than the default so that might influence things.
What I would like to ask you to try is switch to a default theme like twentyseventeen and check your blog page (what you have set under Settings > Reading > Posts page with that if the events show up in the blog loop or not.
If they don’t show up, there could be a bug. If they show up, then there can be something with the theme or how you are showing your posts.
Let me know and we’ll take it further from there.

KeymasterHello Johan,
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me try to help you solve this mystery. :o)
To be able to give you better support, please share your system information with me. Thanks!
You say:
All settings everywhere is set to show prices including VAT.
Can you let me know what settings are we exactly talking about? What eCommerce plugin are you using? WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads?
Can you please send me screenshots of the VAT settings?
Thanks and looking forward to helping you with this.

KeymasterHey Patrick,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!
Let me try to help you with this.
When you switch on that option then the main blog loop query is adjusted and events are injected in the loop. I’m not quite sure how Beaver Builder and the alike handle the main blog loop though, so this could change things.
First I would recommend you to check with a default theme like twentyseventeen whether that setting has an effect on your ‘blog’ page or not. If the events don’t appear there, then we might have an issue. If they appear there, then likely Beaver Builder or Ultimate Addons has something to do with that.
where are these posts now
Not quite sure which posts you mean exactly. The events themselves are recorded in the wp_posts table, like any post, page, and custom post type, along with some data recorded in wp_postmeta (like start and end dates and other details).
it possible to make a category or tag called “Event Posts”, and have it post to a particular category
I don’t fully understand what you would like to achieve with this. Can you give me more details, an example or a scenario?
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi Fation,
Thanks for reaching out with your questions.
How to block a user
I believe a plugin like this would be helpful in that. And there are other options as well, we do not have a best practice for this. You can try the results of this search.
Could you give me any advice how to develop the business aspect of published events
In our premium forums we only support technical issues of our plugins. For your request an agency offering business consultation might be better suited. I might be able to give you some ideas but I’m not a business guy myself, so you might be only worse off. 🙂

KeymasterHello Brandon, welcome back!
Thanks for opening a new thread. Let’s continue then where we left off.
Sorry to hear that you are still having duplication issues.
Could you then please share the doc you mentioned? I’d love to take a look.
Are you experiencing the duplication issue with all of the threads that you shared before?
Thanks,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHello mkd,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!
Let me try to help you with your questions.
past dates are not dropping out after they have passed
This is not a built-in feature of our plugin for normal events. Once a non-recurring event has been entered it stays and shows in the calendar as long as it is not deleted.
As for recurring events there is a setting under Events > Settings > General tab > Clean up recurring events after X months
A scheduled cron job runs every day and deletes (or hides) the recurrences based on that setting.
If you see that those events are still there, then you will need to check if that specific cron job (called ‘tribe-recurrence-cron’) still runs or if it is blocked by the server / provider, or maybe times out.
Your provider should be able to help you with that, or you can install a free plugin called WP Crontrol that helps you check this.
Also recurring dates are incorrectly displaying in the calendar multiple times, every day.
Can you give me some more details what is incorrect and for which event? Also if you could send me a screenshot of how the timing and the recurrence rules for that event are set up, that would be helpful.
Based on what I see in your calendar for Fall Youth Practice:
Timing is set up from August 6 @ 8:00 AM – October 7 @ 10:00 AM. And then a recurrence rule is set as well.
This basically means that you have created a 2 month long event (from Aug 6 to Oct 7) and made that recur every 2 weeks.
Possibly what you wanted is an event on August 6 at 8am, (ending August 6 10am) which then recurs every 2 weeks. But that’s just a guess.
Also if you can share with me the details on what recurrence you need I can help you come up with the rules.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterNote:
The url you are taken to when clicking on ‘Attendees’ is like this:
http://domain.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_venue&page=tickets-attendees&event_id=32598)If you change the ‘post_type’ part to “post” in the url like below, then it might take you to the attendee list:
http://domain.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post&page=tickets-attendees&event_id=32598)Let me know if that works for you.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHi Antonio,
It looks like the “Sorry, you do not have permissions to access this page.” when trying to access the attendee list of a Venue is a bug. I will log this and our developers will take a look at it.
Can you share with me how you got the ticket form to show on the Venue page? Because I’m having trouble with that. 🙂
Thanks,
AndrasAndras
