Include events in main blog loop

I have this option checked in “settings”. I also use a custom blog module in Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder called Advanced Posts. I also tried to change the page for the Blog posts but cannot find any Events Posts.

My actual question is where are these posts now, and is it possible to make a category or tag called “Event Posts”, and have it post to a particular category?

Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!

Let me try to help you with this.

When you switch on that option then the main blog loop query is adjusted and events are injected in the loop. I’m not quite sure how Beaver Builder and the alike handle the main blog loop though, so this could change things.

First I would recommend you to check with a default theme like twentyseventeen whether that setting has an effect on your ‘blog’ page or not. If the events don’t appear there, then we might have an issue. If they appear there, then likely Beaver Builder or Ultimate Addons has something to do with that.

where are these posts now

Not quite sure which posts you mean exactly. The events themselves are recorded in the wp_posts table, like any post, page, and custom post type, along with some data recorded in wp_postmeta (like start and end dates and other details).

I don’t fully understand what you would like to achieve with this. Can you give me more details, an example or a scenario?
