Google Import Problems

I’m having two problems importing events from a Google Calendar, using Event Aggregator:

1) It’s set to a limit of 100 events, but it typically stops at either 30 or 45 at a time.

2) Every time the importer runs, it imports a DUPLICATE event, on the NEXT DAY. For example, if I import an event that’s on Monday, then run the importer again, a duplicate appears on Tuesday; if I run it again, a duplicate appears on Wednesday. This fills up our calendar very quickly, and with a lot of wrong & confusing info.

I’m sorry to hear about these duplication issues when importing with Event Aggregator. Let me try to help you with this.

If you could share the following with me, that would help in my investigation:

• The url / feed you are importing
• A screenshot of how the scheduled import of that feed is set up
• A screenshot of the setting of “Event Update Authority” and “Global Import Settings” under Events > Settings > Import tab

I see you are a fairly new user. Did this happen from the very beginning, or did it start after an update?
