When we introduced Tickets Commerce in November, PayPal was the only gateway integrated into the solution. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve now added Stripe to Tickets Commerce, which opens up a whole world of payment options for our Event Tickets plugin users!
We are especially excited about the many advantages this brings to you. As one of the world’s most popular online payment gateways, Stripe offers a wide range of payment options available in multiple currencies and will make ticket sales even easier and more accessible.
With our free Event Tickets plugin, you can now offer credit card payments on your website, as well as payments through AfterPay, ClearPay, AliPay, and Klarna. For our international users, this integration will now enable you to sell tickets with these payment options using various currencies. See a list of supported currencies.
Even more great news, you can unlock additional features including mobile wallet payments through Google Pay and Apple Pay by upgrading to Event Tickets Plus.
Sell tickets now with our free Event Tickets plugin
Generating revenue on ticket sales couldn’t be easier with Event Tickets. You can get started right away because our plugin is completely free. We want everyone to have easy access to selling event tickets! In order to support the development and maintenance of this integration, we collect a 2% commission on ticket sales. This helps us keep Event Tickets free while enabling us to continue adding and maintaining features that benefit our users. Note that Stripe will also charge their usual transaction fee, which you can find on their website.
Great news: You can upgrade to Event Tickets Plus to remove the 2% commission fee.
