Frequently Asked Questions
Filter Bar is designed specifically for The Events Calendar, a free WordPress plugin. It has not been integrated to use with other calendar plugins.
The custom filters feature takes the additional fields you create in Events Calendar Pro and allows you to add those fields as filters. For example, let’s say you create an additional event field called “Dress Attire” and use it to specify how formal the event is with options including:
- Black tie
- Business Casual
Simply select the “Dress Attire” field in the Filter Bar settings screen and it will become an option in the filters for users to search for events by whether they are formal or casual. Check out this article in our knowledgebase for complete instructions.
Filter Bar includes the following filters right out of the box. You can select just the ones you want and arrange them in any order you like.
- Featured Events
- Virtual Events
- State or Province
- Event Status (Moved Online status only available with Virtual Events)
