MemberHello Susan!
Thanks for clearing that out and sending out the screenshot.
I could also see the error now in the link you provided. Could you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try navigating a few times into that page where you are having the issue, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can spot the problem from there.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHello Ted!
I’m sorry to hear that. Please feel free to fill in the form here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/ to ask for a refund and we’ll take care of it.
If there’s anything else we can help you with in the meantime, just let us know and we’d be happy to assist you.

MemberHello Jason!
Thanks for following up with this and for your continued cooperation.
From the screenshot you sent I can see the event you are editing is not a recurring event. Are you getting the fatal error when editing such event?
This issue seems strange as I cannot reproduce the issue in my own local installation.
The next thing I would like to try here is creating a fresh test site — this will ensure that we’ve effectively got a “clean canvas” to work with.
- Please install a fresh copy of WordPress in a subdirectory.
- Don’t install anything except The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO.
- Please also stick to a default theme — again, there’s no need to install anything else just yet!
- Create an event with a ticket in it so we have some test data to work with.
- Can you replicate the same problem?
If you find you can replicate the problem under these conditions it would be awesome if you could stop and let us know so we can take a look while the site is still running under default conditions.
Thanks again for your help while we work on this together!

MemberHello Miguel!
Thanks for sending out your system information.
The warning message you are getting does not necessarily mean there is something not working, but surely is something coming from The Events Calendar and we’d like to investigate this further. In order to do so, could you please let us know where are you seeing that message? You mentioned it appeared when trying to install the other plugin, did it show right after activating the other plugin? Please, let us know about it. You can send us a screenshot of it.
Also, the critic plugin is not available in the WordPress repository, so could you please send us a copy of it in a private reply? This way we’ll try to reproduce the error message on our end.
Regarding the other issue you are having, this can also be a theme or plugin conflict. I’m not sure what the critic plugin does, but if the issue appeared after installing it, then it might be a conflict with it. You should try deactivating it and see if anything changes. If not, then please go through the complete steps in this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let me know what you can find in the process.
Let us know how that goes.
Thanks,
VictorVictor

Bear in mind this thread will auto close after a few weeks with no activity. In case that happens and you need to reach out to us regarding the same issue, don’t hesitate to open a new topic linking to this one.
Thanks,

MemberHello Nick!
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you with that.
I made a few tests in my own local installation using Safari but could not reproduce the issue.
How are you creating this “featured events” section? Are you using a shortcode? If so, then please share the shortcode with me so I can try to recreate the same scenario.
This could also be a theme or plugin conflict, so could you please go through the complete steps in this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let me know if you see any difference?
Thanks,
VictorVictor
