ParticipantHello, I am having problems with the Events Aggregator database connection. It works fine at random times, but more often than not, it shows that I’m not connected to the database, and says I have to buy the aggregator (I’m assuming because it can’t verify my license due to no connection?). The majority of my scheduled events say “Import Failed.” I have tried switching the theme and disabling the plugins.
I use GoDaddy VPS, but I don’t know enough about error information to determine what is causing the disconnect to your server.
Thanks!

ParticipantThe database connection issue seems to be resolved, but I’m still getting “Import Failed” errors on about half of my 100 imports. My errors.php log shows a few related to the calendar:
“PHP Warning: vsprintf(): Too few arguments in /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Aggregator/Service.php on line 404”
Line 404 shows return vsprintf( $this->service_messages[ $key ], $args );
And a few “Maximum execution time of 180 seconds exceeded” errors for:
/wp-includes/Requests/Transport/cURL.php
/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Aggregator/Record/Abstract.php
/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Tracker.php
/wp-includes/class-wp-query.php
/wp-includes/plugin.phpPlease let me know if there is something on my end that I need to do to get the imports working properly.
Thanks!

MemberHello Derek!
Thanks for following up with this!
It’s good to know the connection issue seems to be resolved. Let me know if any changes on this.
Regarding the PHP Warning you are getting, we think this could be a bug from the Event Aggregator service, where it is failing to supply a value to show the correct error message. I will create a report for this and link it to this thread so we can let you know about the updates.
Just to confirm, could you please check you are not reaching the daily limit for 100 imports a day by going to Events > Help under Event Aggregator System Status ?
In regards to the Maximum execution time of 180 seconds exceeded, it seems it’s reaching the your server max execution time limit set. Where are you seeing this error? Could you please share with us in a private reply the debug.log file located at /wp-content folder?
Thanks,

MemberHello Derek!
Thanks so much for answering all my questions and for placing the code into the functions.php file.
Could you please go to Events > Help and under System Information see if you have checked the option to share your system information with the Modern Tribe support team ? If it is checked, then somehow we are not able to get that info from your site, so could you please copy and paste all your sys info in a private reply?
This will give us more information to debug the Event Aggregator service connection issue.
Thanks,
