    Hi again,

    Thanks for the additional information.

Since I was able to reproduce this on my end without having used the snippet for changing the mobile breakpoint, I don’t think there is any connection there. If you would like to explore why that snippet is no longer working, feel free to create another support ticket for it.

I’m going to set the status of this thread to “pending fix” so that it will stay open until the fix has been released.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

Thank you for providing those details. I took a look at the site in IE-11/Windows 10, and I did not see any problems with the interface. Do you have other users reporting the same issue?

If they could use the developer tools to inspect the page and see if there are any errors in the console, I might be able to determine where things are breaking. The editor interface is added by javascript after the page loads, and I’m guessing there is a javascript error that is preventing this from happening.

Also, make sure they don’t have “compatibility mode” enabled in IE. This is actually the most common cause of problems I come across with IE11.

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Laura,

OK, great. When you get a chance to try that, please let me know if that will work for you until the fix is released.

    Hi again,

By default, our plugins only send the ticket email. If you uncheck the setting I referred to above, they should not receive an email after purchasing the ticket. The settings in your screenshot are in the WooCommerce settings, and I’m not sure why there is a separate email setting there.

If you uncheck all of the options shown above in Events > Settings > Tickets, are your customers still receiving the ticket emails?

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi Laura,

Jeremy is out today, so I wanted to touch base with you on this.

We are currently tracking on an issue after the last update where the mobile view of the month calendar is not displaying properly. Until this is fixed there’s a few things you can do.

One temporary workaround is to switch Events > Settings > Display > “Default stylesheet used for events templates” to use “Tribe Events Styles.” If this does not work with your site styles for some reason, or if you already have it set this way, there is another possible workaround.

When I was troubleshooting this with Events Calendar Pro enabled, I noticed that changing the “default mobile view” in Events > Settings > Display seemed to fix the problem, even when changing, saving, then changing it back to the original mobile default setting I had.

Can you give that a shot and see that works for you too?

I will attach this thread to the bug ticket, and someone will follow up here when a fix is released.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your question.

There is indeed a way to create an event series where the event occurs on the first Monday of the month. To do this, for “Event Series” choose “monthly.” Then for the “day” choose “a different day.” You will then see options to choose “first,” “last,” “second” etc of the month.

Here is a screenshot to illustrate exactly what that looks like:

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have additional questions about this.

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the widget title displaying correctly. I’ll try to help you get this sorted.

I tried adding a list widget on my local test site, and it is respecting the widget title that I enter when I view it on the front end.

Are you making sure to save the widget after changing the title? If you go back to the widgets page afterwards, do you still see the new title saved in the widget, or did it revert to “widget area?”

Do you have any type of caching set up on your site? If so, does clearing the cache make any difference?

If none of the above helps, can you please share your system information with me?

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi Ryan,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that your experience with the Community Tickets Plugin hasn’t been what you expected. I’d love to be able to help you with the issues you are having. If you’re still not happy with the plugin afterwards, you can request a refund by filling out the form here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/

    1) Can you tell me where you are seeing styling conflicts? Is this in the WordPress admin, or on the front-end of the site? Is it on a specific page or pages?

    2) In Events > Settings > Community > “Allow anonymous submissions” you can check this checkbox to enable.

    3) Can you explain in more detail what you mean by “add extra text fields?” Both RSVPS and Tickets can have have custom attendee fields added from the admin area by a logged in user. However, neither can have custom fields added via the front end Community submission page.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi Rich,

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your questions.

It is possible to limit the number of events shown by a shortcode by using the “limit” parameter.

There are also a few different options for displaying events with shortcodes. There is the tribe_events shortcode, which displays any of the full calendar views. Then there are shortcodes for the various event widgets. These can be used anywhere within your page content.

I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “style those so they are horizontal and fit within the theme.” Each view will have its own layout. In the “list” view for example, each event fills the width of the content container, while in the “photo” view the events will be displayed 3 across on desktop screens.

Of course, you could add your own custom CSS to modify the styles of any views as you see fit.

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions about this.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi Erwin,

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your question.

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to import images from Google calendars, but you can add images to the events after they have been imported.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi Tyler,

I see that you already have a support thread going for this issue here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/images-not-importing-from-eventbrite/

Please keep working with the original support thread for help with this issue.

I’m going to close this thread.

    Thanks!
