ParticipantWhen looking at my event page on a mobile device it is impossible to view the month view — it is no longer showing the smaller calendar with the dots, and the events below. I just noticed the change, and assume it happened within the last few releases. Has anyone else reported an issue with this? Or is there something that changed that I may need to change in my custom layout?
I haven’t added any new features or plugins to the site. I do have the breakpoint changed in my functions… but this is something I added a while ago.

KeymasterHi Laura,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
In order to do so, could you share your System Information with me?
The fact that your events page doesn’t display properly on a mobile view is not normal. It might be due to a conflict. Could you switch to the default theme (Twenty Seventeen) to see if that makes a difference? If not, could you deactivate all other plugins, and check again your calendar page? You may read carefully our documentation about testing for conflicts before doing anything.
Please let me know what you find out during the process.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Laura,
Jeremy is out today, so I wanted to touch base with you on this.
We are currently tracking on an issue after the last update where the mobile view of the month calendar is not displaying properly. Until this is fixed there’s a few things you can do.
One temporary workaround is to switch Events > Settings > Display > “Default stylesheet used for events templates” to use “Tribe Events Styles.” If this does not work with your site styles for some reason, or if you already have it set this way, there is another possible workaround.
When I was troubleshooting this with Events Calendar Pro enabled, I noticed that changing the “default mobile view” in Events > Settings > Display seemed to fix the problem, even when changing, saving, then changing it back to the original mobile default setting I had.
Can you give that a shot and see that works for you too?
I will attach this thread to the bug ticket, and someone will follow up here when a fix is released.
Thanks,

ParticipantSky,
Thank you so much for checking in and for the suggestion. Today is a travel day, so I’ll be able to try that out tomorrow.
Thanks again,

KeymasterLaura,
OK, great. When you get a chance to try that, please let me know if that will work for you until the fix is released.
Thanks,

ParticipantChanging the events templates did work. 😀
I did not notice any change when changing and saving the mobile view option.
I don’t know if this is worth noting for your bug ticket (or this is relevant), but I did use the snippet for changing the mobile breakpoint that I found in your themers guide. It seems that code is no longer changing the breakpoint. Should I also try removing this code?
I’ll mark this as resolved since we have a temporary fix in place. Good luck with that bug, and I look forward to the fix.

KeymasterHi again,
Thanks for the additional information.
Since I was able to reproduce this on my end without having used the snippet for changing the mobile breakpoint, I don’t think there is any connection there. If you would like to explore why that snippet is no longer working, feel free to create another support ticket for it.
I’m going to set the status of this thread to “pending fix” so that it will stay open until the fix has been released.
Thanks,

MemberHi Laura!
Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, including a fix for this issue 🙂
Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-9-september-2018/
We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we worked on this.
As always, we suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can make all plugin updates without disrupting the live site.
Please update the plugins and let us know if the fix works for your site.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
