Display next 3 (or variable number) of events on home page?

1) Is there a shortcode variation that will cap the feed to 3 (or a specified number?)
2) I’d also like to be able to style those so they are horizontal and fit within the theme.

Are these options possible?

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your questions.

It is possible to limit the number of events shown by a shortcode by using the “limit” parameter.

There are also a few different options for displaying events with shortcodes. There is the tribe_events shortcode, which displays any of the full calendar views. Then there are shortcodes for the various event widgets. These can be used anywhere within your page content.

I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “style those so they are horizontal and fit within the theme.” Each view will have its own layout. In the “list” view for example, each event fills the width of the content container, while in the “photo” view the events will be displayed 3 across on desktop screens.

Of course, you could add your own custom CSS to modify the styles of any views as you see fit.
