MemberHey there Bob. Thanks for jumping over to PRO; glad to see you made the switch 🙂 Just in case Jonah didn’t see the follow-up here (we’ve been having some weirdness with the email notifications as of late, which we’re working on now)…I have passed this his way again. You should get a response here sometime today.

MemberThanks for the clarifications on this, Andy – it looks like you’ve done what you can!
Rob
MemberGlad to hear that did the trick, Rough, and happy to be of service 🙂 If we can do anything else down the road please just let us know…and we’ll make it so. Cheers!

MemberHey Fabien. Thanks for the note on this; you’re the second user to report a possible conflict with WPML today so it’s possible that something else is up.
I’ve asked Jonah from our dev team to take a look and try to diagnose this issue when he hits the forums later today. If he cannot provide any guidance we’ll bring it to the lead dev on this project. If there is a conflict with WPML, as the forum thread at WPML seems to suggest, we’ll want to do what we can to fix it.
Thanks for your patience so far. Stay tuned…
Rob
MemberGotcha; thanks for confirming, Brent, and no worries about the delay. I know how things can go on that end.
Why don’t we do this: 2.0.7 for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO will be released today. They include a number of bug fixes, a couple related to permissions; would you be willing to give updating those a go and let me know if the issue persists from there? I can bring a dev in at that point if needed.
Thanks for your patience so far.

MemberHey there Meghan. Thanks for the note here; we are aware that there are some load time issues with the current plugin that we’re working to address. We should have some progress on that in 2.0.7 (which comes out hopefully today), so let us know how performance is upon updating…the bulk of the speed tweaks will be in 2.1, which we’re shifting focus to today now that 2.0.7 is out.
Hope that helps! If you have other questions or if we can do anything else, please let me know. Thanks again for your support so far.
Rob
MemberYo Javier: awesome to hear that did the trick. Jonah will be pumped to hear the themer’s guide was of value to you 🙂
We actually just started 2.1 this morning, now that 2.0.7 is done (and will be available to download sometime today). No guarantees but I don’t see us taking longer than a month or so to finalize 2.1. It’ll be out some time this summer.
Hope that helps. If we can do anything else, just holler.
Rob
MemberThis is a solid idea, Javier – I can certainly see the value in that and it looks clean on your example screenshot.
Let me see what Jonah says regarding the feasibility of this on a broader level. Personally, I’d love to see support for it added to the code eventually…but not sure what that would entail. I’ll get Jonah to chime in directly when he hits the forums today.

MemberHey Joe. Thanks for the heads up here and apologies that we’ve taken a few days to get you a response here. While one user did report a WPML problem a while back, his looked to be a conflict with another plugin and nobody else has brought the issue to our attention.
Have you made sure that WPML, WordPress and the Events plugins are all running the latest builds? Are you in a position where you can test deactivation of other plugins (and the theme) to see if this is a conflict with one of those?
Let us know and we’ll do our best to troubleshoot from there. Thanks!
Rob
MemberHey Stephen. Thanks for reaching out here; I believe we’ve taken care of this via our email exchange already but let me know if not. Thanks again for your interest!
Rob
MemberThanks for confirming, EastMagQ. That is an awesome idea and probably would be doable with some customization and the right theme. Out of the box, sadly, no such functionality exists. But I can see the value for it and will discuss with the team what might be the best method. In the interim you may want to post here or on the WordPress.org forum to see if anyone has suggestions for how to do it (as it’s sadly outside the level of customization I can provide).
Brett: thanks for the follow-up. We do still have responsive templates in the works, though these have taken a backseat to getting a couple add-ons and bug patches for our stable of existing plugins out the door. we’ve been getting a good number of questions about this and it seems there is definitely need for a responsive template that works smoothly with this plugin. We’re working on integrating some type of our own responsive templating but that’s still mostly conceptual and a few months out. In the interim, while there are no themes specifically built for it that we’re aware of, in general we’d recommend Brandon at Epic Era’s work: http://themeforest.net/user/epicera/portfolio. The responsive code is solid and you can get list/single view working pretty well out of the box.
Hope that helps! Please let me know if anyone has any further questions.

MemberHey Mike. Just a heads up that while Jonah is out today, I’ve asked Joyce from our team to take a look and get you a response here when she hits the forum this afternoon. Thanks for your patience and support so far.

MemberHey Dave. Appreciate the follow-up here; that raises a good question that I’ll need Jonah to take a look at. I know the code has changed somewhat substantially between the 1.x releases we had supported on MDNW and the 2.0 build we launched when we moved over here…but I suspect there’s a way to make it work somehow. Stay tuned.
