Hey Rick: thanks for reaching out. We actually are no longer supporting the 1.x builds, since we switched to a new codebase and launched 2.0 last November. The add-ons such as Facebook Events will not work until you’ve made the jump to the 2.0.x codebase.

If you want to update, shoot us an email (pro /a/ tri.be) and we’ll give you the 30% off coupon we gave to all pre-2.0 users wanting to make the update. From there you’ll be all set to integrate with the add-ons as you see fit.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions or need anything else here.

Hey Matthew: thanks for the note. Nope, the plugin works in full (PRO included) without a license. You do not lose any functionality with a missing or expired license; you just won’t receive auto-update prompts when there is a new build available.

That help? Let me know if not, and I’ll elaborate to get you what you need. Thanks for your support so far.

Hi there Delfin. I can help you out here; if you forward your tri.be receipt (or your Paypal receipt, either way) to pro a/ tri.be I can look into our records and reset your password for you. Cheers!

Hi there Sean. Thanks for reaching out, and for using our plugin. You can absolutely switch over the license from dev to live — it’s an easy process. Check out this blog post I put together on this very point: https://theeventscalendar.com/events-calendar-pro-license-keys-when-you-need-them-when-you-dont/. Let me know if you have any other questions after giving that a look. Cheers!

Glad to hear that was of value to you, Alyssa. Joyce is out the next week or so but if you have any other questions or if we can do anything else…please let us know. Thanks again for your interest and support.

Hey guys. Thanks for the follow-ups here. Glad to hear this fixed your issue, Tom – appreciate you confirming as much. Let me know if you notice any new quirks introduced in the latest codebase.

Matt: we’re planning to have the August release far more substantive; as you can see, this month really only the core Events plugin got a substantive batch of changes (the add-ons were all extremely minimal given that we had a shorter dev cycle than most months). Which thread is that discussed in, just to be sure? I want to check that it’s a high priority ticket in the 1.0.3 (August) release so we can try and get this taken care of for you. Thanks in advance!

Alright Carlos, thanks for confirming. While we obviously cannot provide specific guidance on customization, I’ve passed this back to Jonah to see what else he may be able to offer up here that can point you in the right direction. Stay tuned and thanks for your support so far.

Thanks for the notes here, guys, and to Grant for his suggestion. The way it was built was our intended approach for initial launch (and our beta testers seemed fine with how it worked in the lead up to release)…but that being said, I can see the value in what’s being requested here and Grant’s hack looks pretty slick.

Let me get Jonah to take a quick look and make sure it’s viable for inclusion down the road; if so, I’ll try and get it included in Community 1.0.3 or the following monthly maintenance release. Cheers!

Hey Tony: this looks like a relatively old thread, but the WP Router problem should be fixed in either 1.0.1.1 (for most users) or 1.0.2, which launched earlier this week (and has fixed the problem for everyone else we’ve heard from so far). Can you confirm whether you’re still having issues even with the latest batch of updates?

    Thanks in advance!

Just a heads up, Jason – this came in too late to make it into the 2.0.8 release we launched this week, but I’ve bumped it to a high priority issue for 2.0.9 so we can get fixed ASAP (as per Jonah’s previous note). Thanks for your patience so far and please let us know if we can do anything else down the road.

Thanks for confirming as much, Craig. I’m not quite sure about this (assuming updating to 1.0.2 didn’t fix it?) but let me see if Jonah can guide you on this. Joyce is out this week so we’re a bit shortstaffed but I’ve added this to Jonah’s pile so we can hopefully get you a response as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience so far.

Thanks for confirming, Mike, and I apologize on my end for letting this thread slip through the cracks. I’m glad to hear you got this figured out but it’s a bummer to hear there is a conflict with another custom post type but that would definitely be cause for concern here.

Once you’ve got the plugin booted up again and jump back into it…let us know what we can do to help you. Thanks again for your patience and support so far.

Thanks for the follow-up, Tai, and apologies that it took me a few days to get you a response here. Is it possible that the events losing their links is being caused by either of these radio buttons (http://d.pr/i/ZHPb) being changed? The top one will disconnect the event from EB entirely, while the second hides the Eventbrite ticket sales options so it looks like there is no Eventbrite link at all. (The second button defaults to off, too, so you’d need to manually set it to make them display). Could that be responsible?

You are correct on the API key side: the user is blocked from any Eventbrite-related capabilities until their API key is added, so no action could be taken related to this prior to its inclusion.

Hope that helps. Let me know your thoughts on the above and I’ll do what I can to troubleshoot from there.

Hey Jason. Thanks for the follow-up here; this is odd, as I’m on the exact same setup on WP 3.4.1 – Events 2.0.8, PRO 2.0.8 + Eventbrite 1.0.2 – and all 3 activate without issue. Even with WP-debug set to TRUE I’m not seeing any notices.

What version of PHP are you using?

Sorry that this one slipped through the cracks, John. I’d be happy to help you out best I can if this issue still persists, though. Are you finding that this still occurs with the 1.0.2 update that was launched earlier this week? If so please let me know and I’ll work to troubleshoot as needed. Thanks for your patience so far.
