    Hi there Karl,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

Hopefully we have two useful Knowledgebase articles that cover how to change those texts:

Please give them a try and let me know if you need help with it,

Sorry this is still an issue and thanks for the additional testing!

I will try a couple of more way to reproduce this on my end. As you say this might be caused by the timezone offset not being respected. My guess is it changes at 5pm, as 12 (day cutoff) – 7 (utc offset) = 5. That’s what I was trying to reproduce locally with no luck!

I will give you a heads up on this soon!

    Bueno Jean,

    Saludos,

    Jessie,

Thanks for following up! So I guess this narrow down to the <br> tags then. All other seems to be correctly displayed.

To remove the <br> tags from the json+ld data, add this nisppet to your theme (or child theme) functions.php file:

Please let me know if it works for you,

    Hey kevin,

I totally agree with you, I feel the obstacle here is the theme login and how it works. Let’s re-cap a bit:

    • The first snippet aimed to redirect the user directly to the WordPress login page, that was before getting what you needed. Please comment out this snippet as it wasn’t solving your issue.
    • The second snippet was to show you how the login_redirect filter works in WordPress. According to your theme that’s how to redirect users after they use the theme specific login modal.

Now i’m not sure what to do. but I believe I removed the code from the functions.php – but currently, even when I am logged in, selecting ADD EVENT brings up the theme’s pop-up login and does not recognize that I am already logged in.

This is something on how the theme login works. Can you ask them about it? Maybe there’s a class you can add to the link to redirect to a given URL if the user is logged in?

I provided the credentials not to make changes – but so you can experience the issues that I’m having.

Send them over a private reply please, but again I’m not sure I can help you out with how the login popup works! At least I can check if the login systems are compatible.

    Thanks,
    Nico

    Hey Rey,

Thanks for following up and sorry for the delay in my reply (as you stated we do not monitor the forums on weekends)…

Is there some other kind of re-save to try?

We could re-save via code, but I don’t see this would help solving the issue. Also you later stated this is not working correctly anyway.

We have an event that will occur weekly on Thursdays for 6 weeks, except for on the 5th week it will occur on Wednesday.

Can you send me a screenshot of the recurrence setting for this event?

Post: “New Recurring Event” is the post we created right after updating the plugin. It does not have the /all/ bug.
Post: “NEW CALENDAR TEST – RECURRENCE WITH EXCLUSION /ALL/ BUG” is a new post created today. It is bugged.
Post: “NEW CALENDAR TEST – RECURRENCE NO EXCLUSION /ALL/ BUG” is a new post created today. It is also bugged.

Also for these events. I will try to re-create the bug you are experiencing.

So sorry this is taking so much back-and-forth to be resolved!

    Best,
    Nico

Thanks for following-up on this issue!

Regarding the recurrent event, I guess the glitch is generated by the settings: https://cloudup.com/coOAWYbV4ts. Event End Date, should be set to 2019-02-09 to match the start date. That way the event will run for one day, and then the weekly recurrence should work as expected!

Regarding the license you should see a “Licenses” tab in WP-Admin > Events > Settings, in there you’ll be able to input the license key. If you don’t input the license key you won’t be prompted for updates, but the plugins will work just the same.

I’m not sure about the errors you share with me, seems to be cache/varnish related, might be a good idea to ask folks at the server support on this.

Please let me know about these items,

    Hey Nathan,

    Thanks for following-up on this!

If we did the manual update, would we benefit from updating the base Calendar plug-in files as well as the Pro files?

From what I see in your system information The Events Calendar core is upto to date, only PRO needs the update. Just updating PRO will be ok!

If I deactivate the base Calendar plug-in, in order to replace the files, will all the calendar events we’ve created still be there when we reactive the new one?

No need to de-activate the “base calendar plugin”. Anyway if you do so all event data remains in the database unmodified, so won’t loose any data.

If this is still an issue after updating, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

Thanks for the heads up Blake! Great job identifying the issue 🙂

Let’s keep this thread open until you got a reply form the WP Job Board folks.

Once last test that you could do is create a category called ‘scma’ (or any other name formed only by lower case letters). The dash in the URL might be the issue? I’ve tested locally and it’s not an issue for me, but who knows!

    Thanks,

    Hey Hans,

Thanks for confirming this is working 🙂

@Shannon, if you can confirming this is still an issue after updating The Events Calendar + Events Calendar PRO to version 4.0.6 please post a new thread with your system information + confirming you’ve tested for conflicts. This way we will be able to help you better.

I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if anyone facing the same issue still needs help please don’t hesitate to create a new one and we will be happy to assist you.

    Hola Alicia,

Un gusto poder ayudarte nuevamente 🙂

Is it possible to have my customers register when they signup for one of my trainings, so when they want to signup for another training (event) they don´t have to fill in all their details again?

Si, esa opcion depende del plugin de E-commerce que este usando. Si no me equivoco el registro al momento de hacer el checkout es una opcion en todos los plugins. Cual estas usando para tu sitio? WooCommerce?

Also, I want to register my customers to link them to my mailjet data, so my customer data is integrated between plugins.

Probaste usando el plugin Mailjet for WordPress, supongo que debe poder importar usuarios del sitio al newsletter.

    Thanks for confirming Oliver 🙂

Regarding the capitalization, I could confirm this was only fixed + QA’d in Core, but the fix is likely to work on other plugins. I’ll log this so this is also extended to other plugins. If you see any other place where this is happening (events in lower case), please point them out!

    Hey there @apa,

Thanks for reaching out on this! I’ll help you out.

The easy way would be to use the ‘Add HTML before event content’ field in Events Settings (WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display). The contents of that field will be shown above every event template. If you want to target only a view you an edit the appropriate template file as described in our themer’s guide.

Please let me know if any of those alternatives work for you,
