MemberHey Janto,
Thanks for reaching out to us on this! Interesting question here…
I’m not quite sure what would be the best solution for your case. I guess it depends on how many other events you have in the calendar… One thing that might be useful is to create some category for containing this types of events, so then using Category Colors plugins or adding the main events categories to the nav will help users get to see the events they are interested in.
Do you think this makes sense for your site? What event view where you planning to use?

MemberHi Thomas,
Thanks for reaching out! I’ll help you finding out what’s wrong here…
First of all let me say I’m not sure about what’s happening here, I’ve never heard of this issue and it doesn’t seem to be generated by our plugin.
It would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end. Also, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Thanks,
NicoNico
MemberHey Matt,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about the issues you are having.
As stated when your Non-Profit application was approved, the licenses your site was granted are unsupported, that means I cannot help you with this issue over the premium forums :(. You’ll need to buy a license to get premium support access.
Best I can say is follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide. Make sure to disable all plugins (other than ours) and change the theme to default. If it works as expected under these conditions then it’s mostly sure a conflict, to discover which plugin might be in conflict re-enable them one by one and re-test for the issue every time. Hopefully this will allow you to narrow down the issue to a particular theme/plugin…
If this still fails under default conditions, you can post to our wordpress.org support forum, which we monitor weekly.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey Helen,
Thanks for reachign out and sorry to hear your site is being affected by this bug.
Some other folks using X-theme have reported this issue and we are already preparing a fix. For now the best would be to manually downgrade the plugins to version 4.0.5 and wait for a bit till the release addressing this issue is out. I’ll set this thread status to ‘Pending Fix’ and also link it with the bug report so you are noticed when this is addressed.
Please let me know if you are able to do the downgrade and if it works,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi there Sally,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’ll help you out on this issue…
First of all it would be great to have an URL where I can see this, I’ve tried accessing the site but seems it’s still not open to users. Also, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Please let me know about your findings,
Best,

MemberHowdy Fritz,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll help you here…
Now I want to disable the entry “Eintritt: Eintritt frei” on this page. http://salsarya.at/kalender/salsa-cubana-intermediated-1/2016-02-24/
Does the event have a cost assigned? The ‘free’ notice will show if the event cost is set to zero, Can you check on that in the event details?
Also I want to show the time in german terms
Sure this is possible! Our calendar uses WordPress date/time settings. So just go to WP-Admin > Settings > General > Time Format and change to the 24hrs format.
Please let me know about these,
Best,

MemberHi there João,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in our products!
‘Attendees meta’ is how we call the feature you are asking about, and it will most probably be included in next release 4.1 coming out next month. This was not a feature of WooCommerce Tickets. As a work around is possible to ask for more details on the checkout but that should be addressed from WooCommerce or the e-commerce platform in the site.
So to sum up, this will soon be a part of Events Tickets Plus! Stay tuned to our releases notices via newsletter subscription at the footer, or follow @TheEventsCal on twitter.
Please let me know about if there’s anything else I can help you with,
Best,
NicoNico

MemberHey Rey,
Thanks so much for following up with the screencaps. With them I was able to reproduce and narrow down a bit the bug that’s affecting your site!
Please the following:
– Go to WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Timezone Settings > Timezone Mode, set that option to Use the local timezone for each event. This fixed the issue for me locally without having to re-save the events.
If events with exclusion fail to generate the recurrence series correctly (basically if exclusions don’t work), try using ‘Los Angeles’ time zone or the appropriate ‘city named timezone’ as there is an existing bug (the fix seems to be ready and most probably will be included in 4.1 coming out shortly).
If this doesn’t work I’m inclined to think this could be related with the date picker format the site is using (mm/dd/yyyy). So if the above fails, then try the following:
– Go to WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display > Date Format Settings > Date Picker format and choose the first option (yyyy-mm-dd).
– With this new setting saved try to reproduce ‘Case #2 – Screencap Recurrence Settings for Post with /all/ Bug includes Exclusion Rule’.Please let me know about it, truly hope changing the timezone settings help!

MemberHey Karl,
Thanks for following up on this!
You are correct about both tutorials 🙂
Regarding the ‘Archives’ title, that seems to be inserted by the theme, and it’s not a text in our plugin. Can you try to review theme’s docs on it or reach out to their support theme for instructions on how to change that?
Please let me know if you get this sorted,
Best,
NicoNico

^ Can you tell me what this says in English? I’ll specifically add this string to the ticket!
Can you address that they will be included in the next MR?
I’ve logged the issue, not sure if there will be a MR for all plugins, before 4.1 (which is about to be released). I’ve given it a high priority as this a bug in something we ‘incompletely’ fixed. I can understand it’s a pain for you, and of course it requires more time from everyone!
How is the process for translations? I would expect that on every release they will be included to make sure that everything is up-to-date?!?
Latest translations are pulled in before packing the release ZIP files. In fact I can see that string in the translation files. And a deeper look indicates the translation is getting correctly pulled in to the ‘Event’ post type labels (the ‘view_item’ label, use this code in functions to check on this https://goo.gl/FX6vKG), no not sure why WP is not using that label! I’ll double check on that…
Thanks once again for the help on the German side of things,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey Gwyneth,
Thanks for following up with this and for granting me access to the site!
Here’s a little CSS snippet to ‘fix’ the spaces, data and price style. Just add it to your theme (or child theme) or via Simple Custom CSS plugin:
.tribe-events-schedule h2 {
display: inline-block;
margin: 0;
font-weight: normal;
vertical-align: middle;
font-size: 1.2em;
font-family: 'Open Sans';
color: #767676;
}
We usually don’t support styling customizations, but in cases like this we can provide a little snippet to help you getting started!
Please let me know if this helps you out,
Best,
NicoNico
Member@wanganuiedc, thanks for the info 🙂
