You are not invited for this event

Subscribers are unable to view single event posts. They can view the calendar and view the events on the calendar however when they try click into the event they are displayed with the following message

“You are not invited for this event please contact administrator”

Administrator is replaced by the creator of the event.

There are no options to add people/manage who is invited to each event and we want them to be open to all users on the website.

Any advice, is there a plugin we require?

We already use The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro

Thanks for reaching out! I’ll help you finding out what’s wrong here…

First of all let me say I’m not sure about what’s happening here, I’ve never heard of this issue and it doesn’t seem to be generated by our plugin.

It would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end. Also, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
