MemberHi Grégoire,
Since WooCommerce Tickets does not support donation tickets, that ticket is technically a free ticket and so the French translation changes the text to Gratuit. You could change that in the French translation file, but that will be overwritten with each update. It would probably work best if you used a single-string translation plugin like Say What? to target that specific word. Hopefully that will work for you 🙂

MemberHello dkiessling,
Thanks for getting in touch. That situation sounds utterly frustrating! I do have a couple of ideas, but first I’ll need to know which plugins you’re running and which versions of each. Also, to confirm, when you say “the updates page” are you referring to the WordPress Plugins page or the Updates page under Dashboard? Thanks for your patience while we get to the bottom of this.

MemberHey Cosmin,
No worries about the post, I just appreciate that you’re helping us out with these translations 🙂 I got your email as well, and I’ve updated the .pot file in the Getting Started post- thank you for pointing that out!
Does the translation for The Events Calendar you linked above include that update? If not, I can wait until you do that and test all three translations at once. Then I’ll email you with the coupons you requested.
Cheers,
Leah

MemberHi Frans,
Thanks for volunteering to help out! Our Dutch translations for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are outdated, and I’d love to have you update them. Check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need. Once you’ve done those, I’d love to have you work on the WooCommerce Tickets translation as well!

MemberHello rvb,
Sometimes even if the string looks like it is translated in the .po file, it won’t map onto the site because the .po file itself is outdated. But you can update the file with the latest strings and it will get it working again- I just did it on my test site.
To fix the translation, open the nl_NL.po file in PoEdit. Then select Catalog –> Update from POT file in the menu. Select this .pot file. That updates the strings. Then save the file in a different location. You’ll see that it saves not only the .po but also a .mo file. Move those into the /lang file for Events Calendar PRO, replacing the existing ones. Then refresh your site and you should see the Next/Previous week links properly translated!
If you’re interested, I’d love to have you totally update the Dutch translation for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO. That will fix other strings and allow other users to have an up-to-date translation. If you’re interested, head over to our Translation Forum. Check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need.

MemberHello gian,
Casey asked me to take a look here since I handle the translations for our plugins. I believe that the English you’re seeing is actually because the Italian translation for Community Events is quite outdated. Are you interested in updating it for us? We’d be happy to give you a free license in exchange, and then our other users could also use the plugin in Italian.
If you’re interested you can head over to our Translations Forum where we handle all of the incoming translations. Check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need.

MemberHello seifenigel,
I’m looking into this a little further, and I’m wondering if maybe the problem is that your translation files are outdated. Can you tell me what language you’re using, and also give me a screenshot of the untranslated strings? That would help me troubleshoot and hopefully give you a solution. Thank you!

MemberHi rvb,
Thanks for getting in touch!
Some elements of the calendar, such as days of the week and month names, are translated by WordPress itself and not via our plugin translations. This means that if you do not have the WordPress translation files loaded for your language you will see some untranslated words in your calendar, even with your language set in wp-config. To fix this, you’ll need to download and install WordPress for your language. Then the Week View (and other Views) should be fully translated.
Our plugin does not currently support 24 hour time, so there’s no way to show time’s without the am/pm. We do hope to add this in the future, however. You can encourage us by adding your votes to our UserVoice thread for this feature.
You might be able to change how the Week View displays to remove the All-Day Event space, but it would require you to customize the plugin. You might start by taking a look at our documentation. Customizations like this are beyond our scope of support, so you’ll need to pursue this change on your own.

MemberHi hmalhoa,
You can download the .pot file for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO from our Getting Started post. I believe there’s also an existing (but outdated) Portuguese translation for both of those, so you can use that as a starting place. Just make sure you update them with the new .pot file so you get the new and changed strings.

MemberHi corne029,
Thanks for getting in touch. It looks like the Dutch translation of WooCommerce Tickets is very outdated. I’d love to have you update the whole thing, and that would get that line corrected.
If you’re interested, you can find instructions and files in our Getting Started post. We’d be happy to give you a free license or renewal for WooCommerce Tickets in exchange for your hard work too! That offer extends to our other plugins as well- it looks like those that have a Dutch translation are very outdated, so we’d love to have someone work on them.
Thanks,
Leah

MemberHi Brian,
Thanks for the information. I was able to recreate what you’re reporting. Those buttons are actually part of Easy Digital Downloads, not our ticketing plugin. You’ll need to find and activate EDD’s German translation in order to get those buttons to show in German. I’m not familiar with their translation program, but you can always get in touch with their support 🙂
We did just release a hotfix for EDD Tickets (3.4.1) that includes a German translation, so after you update you’ll see more German, particularly on the New Event pages.

MemberHi Kleber,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in WooCommerce Tickets! We do not have a demo available. However, the product page includes many details and screenshots that can help you discover if the plugin will work for you. You can read through the New User Primer which outline the capabilities of the plugin and includes a thorough walkthrough and videos of the backend. And if you have further questions, you can always post in our Pre-Sales Forum.

MemberHi fervent,
Hmmm, that is strange. Can you give me the translation files you’re using for WordPress? That will help me troubleshoot further. You can upload them and leave a link here so I can get them. Thanks for your patience while I look into this.

Leah
