MemberHello Mike, since it works fine on Rob’s test, before we resort to logging in to your site to try to help, can you please first confirm you’ve done all of the following:
1. Are you running the latest version of WordPress?
2. Are you running the latest versions of our plugins (2.0.8)?
3. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict?
4. Have you tried reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if it’s something with your theme?
5. Try setting your permalinks to ‘postname’ in Settings > Permalinks?
6. Try refreshing your permalinks by visiting Settings > Permalinks (it does it automatically)?
7. Try increasing the PHP memory for your website: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/?Knowing that you’ve done all of this will help us narrow down the problem faster.
Have you made any modifications at all to our plugins?
Thanks!

MemberHello Ant, is your currency set up to GBP in your Eventbrite account? Just making sure. Can you also please link to your site for us?
Also, to be able to help, I will need you to confirm you’ve done the following:
1. Are you running the latest version of WordPress?

MemberHello Scott,
This sounds like a customization request, and is very likely to do with your theme. We don’t normally support these types of issues, since our promise is to make sure our plugin is operating using the latest WordPress standards, which can be tested by switching to the latest version of the Twenty Eleven theme, on the latest version of WordPress, using the latest version of all our plugins and add-ons.However, I’m happy to try to help if I can, and if it’s a quick fix.

MemberHello Mike,
I’m not entirely sure what you’re trying to accomplish, but perhaps that may be my shortfall of understanding. Could you describe what you want something to look like or do?
Also, have you checked out this tutorial on how to completely customize the widgets? https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/ It may be of use to you.
Let me know if that doesn’t help!
If we need to get some devs involved, I will need you to confirm that you’ve upgraded to the latest version of all our plugins and add-ons, are using the latest version of WordPress and are making changes in your child theme folder as per the instructions on our Themer’s guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/
Thanks!

MemberHello Rene, unfortunately this is a shortcoming of the Google Maps API. Google needs to update its maps for this to start working properly. Sorry we can’t be of much help!

MemberHello Justin,
Have you checked out our technical documentation yet? What you are looking for should be here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentationWe also have a Themer’s guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/
Let me know if those two links don’t have the answer to what you’re looking for.
Thanks!

MemberHello Sarah,
Unfortunately we don’t have a csv exporter but we do have a way to export calendar events into iCal or Google Calendar. So from there you could find a way to export a csv. We do have a beta csv importer that is in the works, which would allow a person to import a bunch of events from say, Google Calendar or iCal. If you’d like a copy to play around with, you can e-mail us at pro /at/ tri.be to request it (but do keep in mind it is still in beta, so not perfect yet).About Question 2, this goes beyond my technical ability, so I am going to have someone else look into this for you. However, I can say that the Community Events add-on does have a way for users to be able to submit events without approval. You can have “anonymous” submissions of events and also “subscriber” submissions. So if they add the location to the event they submitted, I don’t see why this wouldn’t show up on the overall map you plan to create. Not sure if that answers your question!
Thanks for your patience!

MemberHello Mark, I don’t foresee this in the coming future – it is an interesting request though. You would probably need to get it custom developed. I’ll check to see if our team can do it, but I’m not sure they can take on these types of projects.
I’ll get back to you with their answer!

MemberI see. I guess it could be problematic if you have lots of links pointing to them and then let them die out. Of course you could manually do re-directs on your server…

MemberHello Louis, it would help us a lot if you linked to your site for us to be able to help with these types of things 🙂
However, it sounds like you are trying to customize the look of the calendar, in which case, you will want to check out our Themer’s Guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/
If you send us a link to a live working site, even if it’s still under construction, we can have a look and if it’s a quick fix we can help out. Otherwise if it’s an extensive customization we don’t normally support that type of thing.
Thanks!

MemberHello Jacob, we don’t have that many shortcodes – however if you are using WordPress menus you should be able to link to the calendar or a specific calendar category very easily. You can control the look by using the page template settings under “Templates” (in the Calendar Settings area). If you let me know specifically what you are trying to accomplish I may be able to help give better suggestions 🙂
Thanks!

MemberAlso this is not exactly the same issue, but may shed light on what to do to customize your title area:
Calendar page title shows title of an event and won't change

MemberHello Sean, I did a lot of digging around and it really is theme dependent – different themes react differently to the calendar when using the default page template.
However, this thread may be of use to you: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/category-title/#post-22003
I’m still going to find out if our devs know more.
Thanks for your patience!

MemberHi Sean, I see what you are saying. I have tested this on my own site and I get the same results. This is something that needs to be customized with your theme. I am going to do my best to find another solution, and hopefully see if our devs can help, but in the interim, you may need to do some coding work to get the titles to appear.
Category view is controlled by the list.php file (which also controls the broader list itself). If you make a copy of this file in a new ‘events’ folder in your theme directory, then modify that file instead of the one in the core plugin, your changes will not be overwritten next time there is an update to the plugin.
Our full themer’s guide is here: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/
Our documentation page is here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation
Also, while you may not be using the Genesis framework, this tutorial on how to integrate the Genesis themes with our plugin is very insightful and the principles can apply to any theme: https://theeventscalendar.com/tutorial-integrating-the-events-calendar-w-genesis/
I am still going to have a look through the forums to find more solutions for you.
