KeymasterHi,
Thanks for your feedbacks 🙂
Indeed, it’s not easy to troubleshoot since your issue has been intermittent.
I have just visited your website but couldn’t notice any problem — I guess Wordfence is still disabled. That being said, it’s weird you get this issue when Wordfence is activated. I’m going to investigate to see if other users have reported a similar problem and I will let you now.
Cheers,
JeremyJeremy
KeymasterHi Lauren,
It seems other users are reporting a similar problem; a bug might have been introduced with the latest version of the Eventbrite Tickets plugin.
Do you remember when exactly that problem occurred for the first time?
Also, could you please enable WP_DEBUG (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress) and WP_DEBUG_LOG (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress#WP_DEBUG_LOG) ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try reproducing the issue a few times, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.
Alternatively you may roll back to a previous version of the plugin while we investigate on this issue. Please read carefully our documentation before doing so:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
Please let me know how it goes.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi,
Welcome back on our Help Desk! I would be happy to help you 🙂
I haven’t heard back from the other customer yet, so I couldn’t identify where the issue comes from. Do you know when that problem started to occur? After the latest update of Events Calendar PRO?
I see that you followed the procedure to test whether there was a conflict. Did you still have the same problem with other plugins deactivated? And with the default theme?
Also, could you share your System Information, so that I would have a better understanding of your setup?
Meanwhile, you can always roll back to the previous version of Events Calendar PRO:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

KeymasterHi Rich,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
When did you notice that problem? After a recent update of our plugins? If that’s the case, you may roll back to a previous version so that your end users could still sign up while we’ll fix this issue:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
Also, could you share your System Information, so that I could understand your setup better?

KeymasterHi maccandy,
Thanks for your feedbacks.
So it’s likely there’s a conflict with your theme. Could you go to Events > Settings > Display tab and make sure you have either Default Events Template or Default Page Template as your Events Template?
If that doesn’t change anything, I would need some extra information. How do you display your events page? Using a shortcode? And did you do some customizations to our plugin?
Cheers,
JeremyJeremy
KeymasterHi,
I’m glad that snippet solved your problem 🙂
I’m going to close this thread then, but feel free to start a new one if you have further questions.

KeymasterHi maccandy,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
Could you try to deactivate all other plugins to see if that makes a difference? Then, could you switch to the default theme (Twenty Seventeen) and look again at your frontend?
Please read carefully our documentation about testing for conflicts before doing anything.

KeymasterHi Derek,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
It’s possible there’s a conflict somewhere. Could you try to deactivate all other plugins before trying to create a new venue, to see if that makes a difference? Could you also switch to the default theme, and try again? Please read our documentation about Testing for conflicts before doing anything.
And could you please enable WP_DEBUG (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress) and WP_DEBUG_LOG (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress#WP_DEBUG_LOG) ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try reproducing the issue a few times, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.
Please let me know what you find out during the process.

KeymasterHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
In order to do so, could you share your System Information? (you way set your reply as “Private”).
Also, do you remember when exactly you noticed that problem? After a recent update of our plugin?
In your WordPress backoffice, you can’t find those events at all, not even under “Drafts” or “Trash”?

KeymasterHi,

I can see you replied “yes” to the question asking if you deactivated all other plugins. Did you still have the same issue with other plugins deactivated?
Also, could you try to switch to the default theme (Twenty Seventeen) to see if that makes a difference?
If you have any doubts, please have a look at our documentation about Testing for conflicts.

KeymasterHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
I noticed you have the following error on your event page: “You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page.  This may cause unexpected errors.”
This error can generally be prevented by using the following snippet:
As a reference, you can learn more about that conflict and how to troubleshoot Google Maps issues in the following article:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/troubleshooting-google-maps/#conflicts
I hope that helps.
Please let me know how it hoes.

KeymasterHi Lauren,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you.
I visited your website, and I could see the Eventbrite iframe here:Â https://www.eldridgestreet.org/event/activist-women-walking-tour/
Is your website working again, or does your problem only occurs with some events?
In case you’re still unable to import events, could you tell me if your Eventbrite account is under eventbrite.com or are you under another country locale, like eventbrite.ca?
When using a different locale, you might need to install the following extension >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/eventbrite-additional-options/Â Once installed and activated, a new set of options will be available.
You’ll have to navigate to your WP Admin > Events > Settings > Imports tab, then select the correct Eventbrite Locale and click “Save Changes”.
Once that’s done, you should be able to connect to your Eventbrite account.
Please let me know how it goes.

KeymasterBonjour Doune,
JeremyJeremy
KeymasterHi,
To solve your navigation issue on mobile, you may add the following css snippet in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:
@media only screen and (max-width: 800px) { #tribe-events-content #tribe-events-header .tribe-events-sub-nav li { margin-top: 0px; } }Regarding your other question, you could remove the excerpt on the mobile view by adding this to your Additional CSS:
.tribe-events-calendar .tribe-events-mobile .tribe-event-description { display: none; }To add the Venue details on the mobile monthly view, that would be trickier. You would probably have to modify the mobile.php file, located at wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/month/mobile.php. First, copy this file, then you could override this template in your own theme by creating a file at: [your-theme]/tribe-events/month/mobile.php.
Please read carefully our Themer’s Guide before doing anything. If you opened a separate thread for this, we could help you find the right path.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
