    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! If you’re using your theme’s page template on the event category pages, then you would need to customize that template via a child theme to load a different sidebar depending on the event category (our functions list has some functions that you can use to check if you are on an events page and to check the event category). Alternatively, you could use the default events page template (under Events > Settings > Events template) and do a template override of that, which you can find at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/default-template.php.

We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jen,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

You are correct that after the subscription expires, you would no longer be able to access plugin updates and premium support without renewing the license. However, the existing plugins on your site would not be affected. You could still create new events. Going forward, if you continue to update WordPress and other things on your site without updating Events Calendar Pro, you will eventually run into compatibility issues.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Scott,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Event Aggregator will let you import events from one site using The Events Calendar into other sites using The Events Calendar. The Personal license allows you to run up to 100 scheduled imports per day on up to 10 domains. If you have more than 10 sites or want to schedule more imports, you would want to go with either the Community or Event Hub license.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Aggregator for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi John,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

First, it looks like you’re running some older versions of our plugins. Can you first try updating to the current versions, along with the current version of WordPress (4.9.6):

    The Events Calendar 4.6.8

    Events Calendar Pro 4.4.27

    Community Events 4.5.12

    Filter Bar 4.5.6

I would also recommend updating your ticketing plugins, although I don’t think that is the cause of this particular issue:

    Event Tickets 4.7.3.1

    Event Tickets Plus 4.7.3

Since some of the versions you’re running are quite a bit older than the current versions, I would strongly recommend doing a full backup of your site and updating first in a staging environment. Jumping from much older versions to current versions can sometimes lead to compatibility issues with other things on your site. You can use the free Duplicator plugin to create a staging environment if you don’t have one already.

Make sure you update everything at the same time, as running an older version of one of our plugins alongside a newer version of another one can also lead to compatibility issues.

After updating, you’ll want to clear out your cache within W3 Total Cache to make sure that you’re seeing the current version of the page. Let me know how this goes!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for reaching out! Are you using the additional fields feature to add this link? If so, try doing a template override of the additional-fields.php file found at wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/modules/meta. For your copy, use this template. You’ll need to replace “your url field” on line 21 with the name of your field. You can replace the “Buy tickets” text on line 23 if you would like to label the link something else.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Roxanne,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

With Event Tickets, you can sell tickets via PayPal. With Event Tickets Plus, you can integrate with WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads which both support several different payment gateways. You can see the options for each here:

    https://woocommerce.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways/

    https://docs.easydigitaldownloads.com/article/861-payment-gateways

It will depend on which payment gateway you choose as to whether or not it supports ZAR. Please let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Zac,

Thanks for reaching out! Are you using WooCommerce currently with Event Tickets Plus? If so, then, as tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products, they typically work pretty well with WooCommerce extensions, which you can use to bundle or link products and provide conditional discounts like you are describing.

I would recommend testing some of those out to see if you can get them working the way that you need. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us in our Event Tickets Plus support forum! We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for third-party integrations like this, but we can always try to point you in the right direction 🙂

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jaques,

It’s possible that there is a small styling conflict between the current versions and something else on your site, but if the font size is the only issue, then adding some CSS is probably your best bet.

Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Thanks!

It looks like this is coming from some custom CSS that has been added (see screenshot).

Try removing the above or adding the following to the Additional CSS area under Appearance > Customize (if you have one) or to the style.css file of your child theme:

    .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-loop .tribe-events-event-image {
    width: 100% !important;
    }

Let me know if this helps!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

I’m sorry that it’s still not working…we are continuing to work on this on our end, and we should have a fix coming soon. I don’t have an exact timeline I can give you at the moment, but as soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here. I just checked in on the ticket for this issue, and it is actively being worked on.

I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved! If you have any questions in the meantime, please let me know.

Thanks for clarifying! Are you able to send any other emails from your site, or is this issue only happening with tickets?

I would recommend using a plugin like Easy SMTP. SMTP provides a more reliable method for sending emails than the default wp_mail() function. Can you give this a try and let me know if this makes a difference?

It looks like you may have tried to share your system info with me, but unfortunately it didn’t come through. Can you copy it from Events > Help > System Information and paste it into a private reply?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
