KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue with the load times, and you are correct that there are several things that can impact performance. It sounds like you have already taken many of the steps that we typically start with! One thing you can do to try to pinpoint the source of the issue is to install the free Query Monitor plugin, which should help identify any particular queries that are  causing such high load times. If you do see anything events-related, please copy/paste those messages here.
Are the load times this much higher only on pages with events content, or is having the plugin active causing everything on your site to slow down? For instance on your home page, if you remove the events widget, does that significantly improve the load time?
Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
That setting only affects the single event pages, as the map on the main events page will zoom to include multiple upcoming events in different locations. To change the zoom level on the main events page, you would need to do a customization. This post has some example code that you can use as a starting point.
We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterNo problem, I’m glad that worked! Just let us know if there is anything else that we can help with 🙂

KeymasterAwesome, glad to hear it! If you run into any other issues, please let us know.

KeymasterHi Eric,
Thanks for clarifying – I can see how this could be useful. You can definitely post this as a feature request! In the meantime, you might try using WP All Import/WP All Export if you have the exact same fields created on both sites. I understand that this might not be the optimal solution in the long run, but hopefully it can help you out for the time being!
Jennifer
KeymasterAh I’m sorry, this will only display if you are using The Events Calendar, which is what most of our users use with Event Tickets, but this is certainly not required!
I tried to take a look at the page you linked to originally, but I am now getting a 404 for that link. Is there another page with tickets that I can take a look at? I’ll be happy to see if there is anything that I can recommend!
Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
I completely understand where you’re coming from, and this is something that we definitely want to get added. We do have an internal ticket open regarding this issue, and I have linked this thread to that ticket. This way you will be notified here as well as soon as we have some more information.
I wish that I could give you an estimate as to when we might be able to release this, but unfortunately I don’t have any information on that yet. However, I did flag this particular feature request internally so that we can review where we’re at with this and see what we can do to increase the priority here.
Thank you for your feedback! If you have any other questions in the meantime, please let me know.

KeymasterHi Lance,
Unfortunately I don’t have an ETA on this yet, but as soon as there is an update, we’ll let you know!
Jennifer
KeymasterHi Eric,
Thanks for reaching out! I don’t believe that it is currently possible to import additional fields with the “Other URL” import option. Are you trying to import events into a site that is using the exact same additional fields as the source site? If not, this could be a bit tricky; the fields are created site-wide (within the settings, not on the individual events), so if the events that are being imported have fields that haven’t already been created on the site you’re importing to, they would not be included in the import.
Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you out. Can you please share your full system info with me? You’ll also want to run through the steps outlined here to check for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or other plugins. Please make sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled while testing and copy/paste any errors that you see into your reply.
Thanks,
Jennifer
