KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out! Events Calendar Pro does not include any additional import functionality, but Event Aggregator (which has replaced iCal Importer) does let you import from .ics files, iCalendar links, and other sites using The Events Calendar. Would you like me to go ahead and switch out your Events Calendar Pro license for an Event Aggregator license?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m not too familiar with the Elementor plugin, but I do not believe there is an out-of-the-box way to add specific events elements to a page using the page builder.
If you would like to customize the single-event.php template to rearrange the events elements, you can do so via a template override. We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
It sounds like this is something that you had working on your development site? If so, then there might be some settings there that are different from your live site.
As a first step, I would recommend adjusting the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” and “Events template” settings under Events > Settings > Display. These affect how much events pages inherit their styling from the theme.
If this doesn’t make a difference, then you may need to get the events pages to use your new font. We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Michael,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can remove the tooltip via a template override. You’ll want to remove this line from your copy of the content.php file found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/month:
<?php tribe_get_template_part( 'month/tooltip' ); ?>We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction!

KeymasterI’m so glad to hear that everything is working well now! Caching can definitely make a difference in site performance, and I’m glad that it was able to solve this issue for you.
If you run into any other issues, please feel free to open up a new thread!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterI’m glad that the import is working now!
The tickets for Eventbrite events should display on the imported event, and users can click to purchase tickets. The actual checkout and registration will happen through eventbrite.com. This article has some good information on adding tickets to Eventbrite events.
Are the tickets you’ve created not showing up on the front end of your imported events? If not, can you please send me a link to an event where this is happening, along with a link to the corresponding event on eventbrite.com?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
I apologize for the delay here, we’ve had a higher than normal support volume this past week.
It looks like the last update resolved this issue for the other users who reported it, and I am no longer seeing the “The requested date “Array” was not valid” in my local environment or on your testing site. It looks like this issue with the URL is separate, and I do see that we have a ticket open for this already – it is currently being worked on by our developers, but I don’t have an ETA yet as to when the fix will be released. Unfortunately I don’t have a solution I can give you as to what code changes you could make yourself. If you would like to dive into the code, I can tell you that the functions that generate the navigation links for month view – tribe_events_the_previous_month_link() and tribe_events_the_next_month_link() – are found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/month.php. However, I don’t have any information from our developers as to where this issue is originating from, so unless you are experienced with PHP, I would recommend waiting for the fix to be released. I’m sorry that I don’t have a better answer for you there!
Until then, can you verify that the original issue with the error appearing has been resolved?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out.
I tested this out on my end, but I was not able to recreate it locally – a “Tickets are no longer available” message is displaying for me when tickets are sold out. Can you please send me a link directly to an event where this is happening and also share your full system info with me?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
There is not an out of the box way to move that form (unless you are also using The Events Calendar), but you could move it with a customization. I would recommend taking a look at this snippet as a starting point.

KeymasterHi Gregor,
You would need to bind the function you’ve written to change the language to the filter you’re using so that it gets called when that filter is changed…without seeing any of your code, unfortunately I think this is the extent of the recommendations that we can provide.
If you need further assistance, we may be able to assist you further. We do need to prioritize support requests from other customers at this time but I’ll certainly flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so.
In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mocks) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add it to this ticket. We will also need the rest of your code, which you can add to this thread via a link to a gist. Keep in mind that we will not be able to code this out for you, but we might be able to provide some more specific recommendations.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
Please let me know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.
Thanks!

KeymasterThanks for sending that info! I will run this by the team and see if there is anything that we can recommend. In the meantime, we did just put out some maintenance releases, so can you upgrade to the current versions:
The Events Calendar 4.6.20.1
Events Calendar Pro 4.4.29.2
After updating, you’ll want to clear out any caching that you are doing (via plugins or on your server – this will also mean temporarily disabling the month view cache under Events > Settings).
Let me know if this makes any difference!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterThanks for your patience while we looked into this! It turns out that there is indeed an issue with the URL. We are working on getting this resolved, but I don’t have an ETA yet as to when the fix will be released. I have linked this thread to our internal ticket for this issue, so as soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here. I do want to note that integrations with third-party plugins like WPML is not something that is included in our regular support and maintenance release schedule, but, we do try our best to keep things running smoothly for our many WPML users and do plan to release a fix for this issue.
I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved! Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
We just made some updates on the Event Aggregator server – can you give it another try now and let me know if it works for you?
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Lucy,
Thanks for that feedback. We are always looking to improve wherever we can, and I definitely understand where you’re coming from with wanting to spend any additional money.
The reason that this feature is not currently there is what I mentioned previously about potentially cutting off upcoming events. Since the map only includes venues that have upcoming events, the appropriate zoom level can change dramatically over time, especially for sites that have venues in scattered locations.
We are more than happy to offer support for things like troubleshooting, assisting with known bugs, getting things set up, using plugin features, etc. We do try to provide additional, free customizations in the way of extensions, which you can find here. Many of these are actually the result of customization requests like this that we thought would benefit other users (or feature requests from our forum) and were able to put out at no additional cost. 🙂
I can pitch this to the team as a potential extension, but for now, I will go ahead and add this thread to the customization queue.
Thanks,
Jennifer
