    Hi Frank,

    Thanks for reaching out!

You can keep cancelled events on your site. Can you tell me what you are doing to cancel them? One thing you might do is create a “cancelled” category, which will allow you to display these events separately (if you would like) with widgets or shortcodes, or on the “cancelled” category page.

Let me know if you have any questions or if I’ve misunderstood what you’re looking for!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Maev,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Event Tickets will let you sell tickets directly through PayPal, and Event Tickets Plus will let you integrate with WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads to sell tickets. Payment/subscription plans are not currently a built-in feature of either plugin, but if you go with Event Tickets Plus and use WooCommerce, tickets will essentially be WooCommerce simple products, meaning that they work pretty well with third-party extensions such as WooCommerce Deposits. These extensions may not integrate 100% with the default ticket form, but you can choose to use the full product page for tickets instead.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Sara,

I just checked on our internal ticket for this, and it does look like this issue is planned for an upcoming release. So, the fix should be out soon, but I unfortunately don’t have an exact date that I can give you yet.

I’m sorry for the delay in getting this out – as soon as it is ready, you’ll be notified automatically here!

    Hi Sara,

If you are generating attendee records when the order is processing, then this will reduce the stock – however, I do not believe that changing this setting to instead generate the attendee record when the order is complete will affect your Mailchimp settings. I am not sure how you have this set up, but the attendee record is separate from the user account. I would recommend giving this a try with a test order on your staging site and see if things are being generated the way that you need – the user is added to your Mailchimp list but not to the attendee records by putting the order into “Processing”.

It sounds like since this one attendee record was generated from the user who didn’t complete the purchase, plus the 5 refunds that you processed, the capacity that you set (55) was reached, which is why the event was being reported as sold out. However, you should be able to adjust the stock manually from here to make the spots for the refunds that you processed available again. Can you confirm that this is the case?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

So glad to hear that things seem to be working now!

I took a look at your events page, but I am not seeing any events with “TEMPLATE” in the name – were you able to get this resolved? If not, can you please send me the link that you are using to import and let me know which import source option you are using (“Import from your Eventbrite account” or “Import from your eventbrite.com url”)?

If there are some of these events that you need to get off of your calendar for the time being, you can hide and ignore them.

    Hello,

Regarding the month view, there is a separate month view cache – you can disable this under Events > Settings > Display > Enable the month view cache. Is your new time showing up correctly on the single event page and on other views (such as list view)? If not, then the next step here would be to run through these instructions (or use a plugin like Health Check) to check for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or another plugin. Please make sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing and copy/paste any errors that you see into your reply.

Other than that setting, there isn’t another way to “refresh” the events pages – clearing out the caching as you mentioned is the right way to do it!

If you are still running into issues with the map, then I would first recommend taking a look at this article – there have also been some recent changes to the Google Maps API, which could be part of the issue here.

Let me know what you find!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Neil!

There is not any way out-of-the-box to schedule follow-up emails with Event Tickets Plus, but you might try using a different third-party plugin in the meantime. I found this list of email add-ons from WooCommerce – one option might be to go with something like the free Mailchimp extension, then add the ticket buyers to a specific list and schedule your email for that list within Mailchimp. I also found this one, which looks very similar to WooCommerce Follow Up Emails.

You could alternatively do a customization to resend the initial ticket email a week before the event – our themer’s guide is the place to start if you’d like to give this a shot!

If you need to grab the email addresses and send the email manually, you can do this at anytime by exporting the attendee list.

I hope this helps until WooCommerce Follow Up Emails is fixed! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Kedhar,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Event Tickets Plus does not include the option to change the prices based on rules, but it does allow you to integrate with WooCommerce. In this case, tickets will essentially be WooCommerce simple products, so you can use third-party extensions with them. WooCommerce has several options for bundling products that will allow you to adjust the price based on several factors, including quantity. Please note that if you go this route, you may need to do some tweaking to use these products with our default ticket form or instead sell tickets from the full WooCommerce product page.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Marilyn,

I’m not seeing that any styling changes were made in the last update…I tested this out in my local environment, and the styles are the same for me in both…one thing I do want to note is that the styles for month view are part of The Events Calendar, so Pro shouldn’t affect those styles.

Did you possibly customize any CSS files that would have been overwritten when you updated the plugin? It’s also possible that some settings were changed in the Customizer or that a theme update including styling changes that also affected the calendar.

You mentioned that you tried switching the settings already…you may need to clear out any caching (in your browser and also on your server/caching plugin if you are doing this type of caching) to make sure that you are seeing all changes on the front end.

    Thanks for sending those links.

I am seeing the tickets on that page (see screenshot) – were you able to get this resolved?

I took a look at your calendar (https://kidcreatestudio.com/events/), but I am able to click on the event titles to go to the single event page. Were you able to get this part resolved as well?

If you’re not seeing the same thing on your end, can you tell me which browser you’re using (and which version of that browser)?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

in reply to: adding new fields to Community Events form #1579760

    Hi Karen,

Removing fields is a bit easier 🙂

The simplest way would be to hide them with CSS, but if you truly want to remove them, then you could do a template override of the custom.php template found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/modules. If there are other fields that you want to remove besides Pro’s additional fields, then you can remove the calls to those templates in your copy of edit-event.php. For example, if you wanted to remove the featured image, then you would delete this line:

    <?php tribe_get_template_part( 'community/modules/image' ); ?>

If you need help with either of these methods, then please send me a link to your event submission page and let me know which fields you would like to customize – I’ll be happy to take a look and see what I can recommend!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
