    Hi Christian,

I’m glad that everything is working now! I’m sorry that it wasn’t clear those shortcodes were part of an extension…I had assumed you were using it already (I’m not sure where you would have seen the shortcodes otherwise), but as I did not see it listed in your system info, I wanted to double check 🙂

If there is anything else that I can help with, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

Just to verify, are you using WooCommerce to sell tickets? If not, which ecommerce platform are you using? Can you also share your full system info with me?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

You don’t need a separate license for the test environment – you can read more about using the same license for both sites here. However, the plugin functions the same way regardless of whether or not a license key is saved on the site 🙂

Based on that notice you’re getting, it looks like you have some custom code in your theme related to events – if this notice is only appearing after the update, then it is likely not compatible with the current versions and would need to be updated. Did you have a developer set this up for you? If so, I would recommend contacting them to see if they can update their code to work with the current versions.

We are not able to assist with custom coding, but if you need any assistance with this, please let me know. I can try to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Stephen,

It is possible, but it will require some custom code. We have some snippets in this post that you might use as a starting point, but these essentially add an email address to an email that is already going out (the ticket email). Setting up an entirely new email would be a bit more complicated. You would need to grab the start time and organizer email address from the event and somehow give it to the platform you’re using to send the email (I’m not sure what you’re referring to by the “Send to Any Email Add-on”). Our functions list might be helpful in getting that info from the event.

I’m sorry I don’t have a more straightforward solution for you here, but please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Christian,

Thanks for sending that info! Can you try running through some of these steps to see if that fixes the 404 errors? Can you also send me a link to one of your venue/organizer pages?

For the shortcodes, you’ll need this extension for them to work. Can you install and activate that and see if that gets them working?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Christian,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you out. Can you please share your system information with me? As a first troubleshooting step, you’ll also want to run through the steps outlined here to check for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or another plugin. Make sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing and copy/paste any errors that you see into your reply.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Stephen!

There is not an out-of-the-box way to schedule emails for attendees, but you might be able to get this set up via a customization. It would require a bit more code than hooking in somewhere to get this working…are you looking to resend the initial ticket email or send out a new email, like a reminder? You can find the template for the ticket email at wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/email.php.

We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck on the code for this, feel free to send me a copy of your code via a gist – I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Marilyn,

I don’t have an ETA on the first issue (titles) yet, although I do see it is under development. It looks like the fix for the second issue has been through development and will hopefully (although I cannot make any guarantees) be included in the next release.

I’m sorry that I can’t give you a more exact answer on timing, but this thread is linked to our internal tickets for these two issues. As soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here. Thanks for your patience as we work on getting these resolved!

Thanks for sending the shortcode! I tested this out again in my local environment, but I still was not able to recreate this issue. The license allows you to update the plugin, but it does not affect plugin functionality. Events Calendar Pro will work the same way with or without the license being installed on the site.

Let me know what you find in your testing! It would also be a good idea to enable WP_DEBUG while testing – if you see any errors, please copy/paste them into your reply.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Thanks for sending that info! We do have a fix that should be released soon – I’ve linked this thread to our internal ticket for this issue, so as soon as it is released, you’ll be notified here.

I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on getting this back up and running!
