ParticipantAfter i made the latest update the links on the first page is not working anymore.
The links is still there but not able to click on them? Can it be that this is the test site for the production site? Or is something wrong after the update? Was able to click there before the update.
The events on the top it’s working.
thankful for any help 🙂

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
I tested this out on my end, but the shortcode links seem to be working correctly for me with the current versions. It could be that the new versions aren’t getting along well with something else on your site. Can you drop down to a completely default environment (all other plugins besides The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro enabled and the Twentyseventeen theme enabled) and see if the links for this shortcode are working there?
Can you also send me the shortcode that you’re using to generate the events for this page?
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantThanks for the help, here is the list code “[tribe_events view=”list”]” It’s working on over main site http://watchitlive.se but not in the prod after update have the same plugins :/ So need to work. Can it be that we don’t have a new licens for the test environment? The a href tag is in the code but i can not press on then so might is a lock for not having the key?
I will setup a new environment and try as well.

KeymasterThanks for sending the shortcode! I tested this out again in my local environment, but I still was not able to recreate this issue. The license allows you to update the plugin, but it does not affect plugin functionality. Events Calendar Pro will work the same way with or without the license being installed on the site.
Let me know what you find in your testing! It would also be a good idea to enable WP_DEBUG while testing – if you see any errors, please copy/paste them into your reply.
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHi!
Yeah, i have a licens for the main site watchitlive.eu there it’s working but after a update on the testenvironment it’s just stopped to work.
I don’t have the license for the test-environment could that be it?
Debug:
Notice: Undefined property: WP_Post_Type::$term_id in /home3/zolid12/public_html/rankingexperts.com.au/watchitlive/wp-content/themes/ticketbox/includes/tribe-events/functions.php on line 108So wonder what happend after the update?
And thx for the help!

KeymasterHello,
You don’t need a separate license for the test environment – you can read more about using the same license for both sites here. However, the plugin functions the same way regardless of whether or not a license key is saved on the site 🙂
Based on that notice you’re getting, it looks like you have some custom code in your theme related to events – if this notice is only appearing after the update, then it is likely not compatible with the current versions and would need to be updated. Did you have a developer set this up for you? If so, I would recommend contacting them to see if they can update their code to work with the current versions.
We are not able to assist with custom coding, but if you need any assistance with this, please let me know. I can try to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterI’m glad that it’s working! However, please note that if you don’t update the plugin, you will eventually run into compatibility issues. If you do have custom code that is conflicting with the current versions, then I would still recommend contacting your developer to see about getting it updated so that you can continue to update to new versions.
Please let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with!
Thanks,
Jennifer
