KeymasterHi Jeff,
Thanks for reaching out!
If you go under Events > Settings > Community > Default status for submitted events, you can change it to “Published”, which will automatically publish events submitted from the front end form without you having to review them.
If you would like to review them and just publish them all at one time, you can set the default status to “Draft” and go to the Events page (to view all events on the back end). Click “Draft”, select the events you want to bulk authorize, and select “Edit” from the Bulk Actions dropdown, and click the “Apply” button (see screenshot). You can then change the status to “Published” and click the “Update” button.
If you’d like some more advanced filtering options for that page to help you find the events you want to authorize faster, I’d recommend trying out our free Advanced Post Manager plugin.
Let me know how that works for you and if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Richard,
Thanks for checking out our plugins, and I’m glad to hear you’re liking the calendar so far!
Eventbrite Tickets will let you link events on your site to events on Eventbrite. The ticket box that shows up on the event displays the tickets on the Eventbrite event and will take customers to eventbrite.com to complete the purchase. However, Event Tickets Plus is built to use either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads to handle the checkout and payment process directly within a WordPress site.
You could do a customization to get Event Tickets/Event Tickets Plus or even The Events Calendar to send info to your external system – I would recommend the additional fields feature that comes with Events Calendar Pro or a plugin like Advanced Custom Fields to collect the required information from customers. If you’d like to go this route, our themer’s guide is the place to start, or we also have a list of recommended developers if you’d like to get help with the code.
I’m sorry I don’t have a more straightforward solution here, but I hope this helps! If you have a minute, please do post this request over in our Feature Ideas Forum, which we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Nicky,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry you’re not happy with the color that’s showing up, but you can certainly change it! There are several settings for colors under Appearance > Customize > The Events Calendar, and of course, if you’re familiar with CSS, you can use that as well. I’d recommend taking a look at this article for more information on changing calendar styles.
Please keep in mind that the site theme does also affect how the calendar displays, and we do have some settings under Events > Settings > Display > Basic Template Settings that give you some control over how much the events pages inherit from the theme. I would recommend changing some of those settings and see if that makes a difference.
I hope that helps! If you need further assistance with changing the color, could you please post over in our community forums on wordpress.org or in our Events Calendar Pro forum if you’ve purchased a license? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
Thanks!
Jennifer

KeymasterHi there,
I’m sorry you’re having so much trouble changing the color! Try adding the following to in the custom CSS section under Appearance > Customize (if you have one) or in the style.css file in your child theme:
#tribe_events_filters_wrapper.tribe-events-filters-horizontal, .tribe-events-filters-horizontal .tribe-events-filters-content {
background-color: #e16d70;
}This is what you should get. If you want to remove that white border as well, you can add:
.tribe-events-filters-horizontal .tribe-events-filters-content {
border: none;
}Let me know how that works for you!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi William,
I just looked up your application, and it looks like your application was actually approved on August 28th. You should have received an email with the coupon code, which will allow you to download the plugin(s) you applied for. I’m sorry you didn’t get it before, but I just resent it – can you please check and let me know if you received it? Make sure to check your spam folder, the original email may have ended up in there as well!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Paul,
Thanks for reaching out!
Unfortunately I don’t think I have an exact solution for you, but I can suggest two methods that might work for you:
Events Calendar Pro comes with shortcodes that you can use to display calendars with various filters, including date. It does not allow you to select a date range, but you can select the date from which you would like that view to display events.
The second method would be to use the tribe_get_events function, which will let you set a range. This will require some PHP knowledge, but if you’d like to give it a shot, I would recommend starting with our themer’s guide, which has some great info on customizing and extending our plugins. We also have a list of recommended developers if you’d like to get some help with the code.
I’m sorry I don’t have a more straightforward solution for you here, but we do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products – feel free to give the shortcodes a test run! If you have any other questions, just let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry to hear the update didn’t work for you! It seems to have worked for most of our users, but we have had a few that are still running into this issue.
Could you please try clearing out the cache from within WP Super Cache and see if that solves the problem? If not, then it would be a good idea to do a quick test to determine if there is a conflict with the current versions and your theme or another plugin. I would recommend the free WP Staging plugin, which will create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing, if you do not have a testing environment already.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Dan,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
To display calendars in month view by category, you can use the shortcodes that come with Events Calendar Pro. [tribe_events view=”month” category=”barbecue”] would display the full calendar on your page.
Community Events will let users create events from the front end of your site and give you control over what state these events go into (so you would select “Draft”, which means they won’t be published to your calendar until you choose to do so) and whether or not users need to be logged in to submit events.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test them out!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Andrea,
I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this issue, it does sound a bit odd! Could you please send me a link to this event and a screenshot of the edit screen on the back end?
Is this occurring with other events as well, or just this one?
Thanks,
Jennifer
October 2, 2017 at 4:13 am in reply to: Non-profit discount rate for Event Tickets PRO or Events Calendar PRO? #1357615Jennifer
KeymasterHi Katherine,
Thanks for checking out our plugins! While we do not currently offer discounted rates, we do have a Nonprofit Partnership Program which provides free copies of Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus to approved organizations! You can apply for the program here. Please note that this does not include the premium support that typically comes with premium versions.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and we will keep an eye out for your application!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi JW,
Thanks for following up on Community Tickets! Out of the box, Community Tickets will let you split payments between the site admin and person who submits the event, but there is not currently a way to split the money from the sale of tickets on a single event between multiple people besides the site admin. Sorry for the bad news there!
Keep in mind that this is the case only for tickets sold on the same event. If Mary and Lisa both created individual events for their classes, then the money could be split between you and Mary for tickets sold on her events and between you and Lisa for tickets sold on her events. The tickets work the same way as with Event Tickets Plus in that they will all wind up in the cart together, so the user can buy them both with one checkout process.
I’d recommend taking a look at this article for more information on split payments and some othe Community Tickets features. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Lee,
I’m sorry that updating didn’t resolve this issue for you – reinstalling the plugin after creating events is definitely not a solution! To help pinpoint the source of the issue, could you please try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins? Make sure you have WP_DEBUG enabled while you do so. If you would prefer not to do this on your live site, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Could you please share your system information with me as well so that I can take a look?
Let me know what you find out, and please copy/paste any relevant error messages in your reply.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Alessandra,
Thanks for reaching out! I’ll be happy to help you with this.
You should be able to accomplish this via the shortcodes that come with Pro. For the image view, try adding [tribe_events view=”photo”] on the pages where you would like the events to display. You can also add other parameters to control which/how events are displayed, and this article has some more details on how you can do that.
Let me know how that works for you and if you have any questions on getting it set up!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Michael,
Thanks for reaching out! I definitely understand not wanting to disable things on your live site – you can actually use the WP Staging plugin to create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
I took a look at the page, and it looks like there are a few issues there (the date fields are skewed and the organizer field is missing). For that reason, I think there may be a conflict somewhere, so unfortunately testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins would be the next step here. I know it can be tedious, but it really is the best way to start narrowing down the source of the issue.
Let me know what you find out!
Thanks,
Jennifer
