KeymasterHi Chris,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
You can indeed add 5-10 events to the same day, and there are several different options for displaying them. With the free version (The Events Calendar), you get month view, day view, and list view, and Events Calendar Pro adds map view, week view, and photo view as well. You can see an example of these on our demo site, wpshindig.com.
For event registration, we have Event Tickets, which will let you create free, RSVP-type registrations on events (and other post types as well), and Event Tickets Plus, which will let you sell tickets on your site and collect additional information from attendees when they register.
You can include a link to another page/flyer in the event description, and Events Calendar Pro also comes with the ability to add custom fields to an event, which you can use to add a link.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take any of our premium plugins for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Harry,
I’m sorry for the delayed response here – our forums have been much busier than usual lately, but I’m glad that you were able to get this resolved!
I’ll go ahead and close this out, but if there is anything else that we can help with, please feel free to open up a new thread.

KeymasterHello,

KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.
I tested this out in my local environment but was not able to recreate the issue. Can you share your system info with me and try running through these steps to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins? If you don’t want to do this on your live site, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing. Please let me know what you find!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Georg,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue!
Can you please send me a screenshot of where you’re seeing this error? Is this something that happened following an update? If you haven’t done so already, can you try running through these steps (with WP_DEBUG enabled) to see if you can find any conflicts with your theme or another plugin? If you don’t want to do this on your live site, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Regarding the slow loading time, I would recommend taking a look at this article, which has some good tips on improving site performance. You may also want to install the Query Monitor plugin, which will give you information on your site (such as slow queries) that will be helpful in narrowing down the source of the issue.
Please let me know what you find!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for checking out Community Events! Charging for event submission is not currently a built-in feature, but this is something that we are working on adding for the future. I would recommend casting your vote for the feature request here so that you can stay up to date on progress.
In the meantime, you can require users to be logged in to submit events. You might try using a third-party membership plugin to charge for membership, and then allow members to submit events. This article reviews a few of the membership plugins that are available out there.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Community Events for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
We had a known issue recently where the latitude and longitude were not being saved when you created a venue, but we did include a fix for this in a recent maintenance release. Can you try updating to the latest versions of The Events Calendar (4.6.10.1) and Events Calendar Pro (4.4.22)? If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
If new venues are still not showing up correctly in map view, can you please share your system info with me?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Matthew,
No worries! Sounds like you’re almost there…
In your tribe-events folder, you’ll need to create a “modules” folder, and then you can copy the bar.php template into there. This template should now override the default one in the plugin files.
Can you give this a try and see if it works?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterThanks for sending those links.
I tested them out on my end, but I was able to import from all three…can you first try updating to the latest version of The Events Calendar (4.6.10.1) and try importing again?
If you are still not able to import, please go under Events > Help > Event Aggregator System Status and send me a screenshot of what you see there?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Jim,
All membership management will be done through the Users section on your WordPress site, not through our event and ticketing plugins. If you’re looking for more advanced membership functionality, I would recommend taking a look at this article, which reviews some of the different plugins out there and the features that they offer.
If you’re wanting to set different price levels on tickets for different membership levels, then you should be able to use a third-party plugin to accomplish this (tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products). Some of our users use the Dynamic Pricing and Discounts for WooCommerce plugin, but you might also take a look at WooCommerce Memberships.
Let me know if there is anything else that I can help with!

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry for the delayed response – we have a very unusually high volume of threads at the moment and are working hard to get to everyone as quickly as possible.
First, I want to mention that you can add ticket forms to other post types besides events (such as pages). You can enable other post types by going to Events > Settings > Tickets > Ticket Settings. So, it might be easiest to add the tickets directly onto the page you want them to show up on instead of to an event.
There are some options for moving where the form displays on the page. Otherwise, if the shortcode that you made is working the way you want it to, then that is probably your best bet.
Please let me know if this helps and if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Brendan,
Glad that you’re liking the plugin!
I don’t believe you being the same contact on multiple applications will cause problems, so long as each one has the correct supporting documentation. Our support team will reach out to you for additional info if needed.
If you do have any other questions in the future, please feel free to open up a new thread!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Brandon,
Thanks for your patience on this!
I talked to one of our developers, and it looks like the conflict is with the All-in-One calendar’s bootstrap.min.css stylesheet, which is being enqueued on our events page as well. If you can prevent this from being enqueued on pages that are not part of that plugin, this will likely solve the issue.
I would recommend reaching out to Timely’s support team to see if they can help you out with this. If there is anything else that I can help with, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Anja,
I’m sorry you’re running into this issue – there should not be a limit on how many events you can create. However, the Create recurring events in advance for setting under Events > Settings > General controls how far into the future events are created. Can you try increasing this and see if that solves the issue?
Thanks,
Jennifer
