ModeratorHi Myla,
I took a look at the screenshot and your site – definitely not typical behavior! If you wouldn’t mind, can you run through our Testing for conflicts guide to see if we can narrow down whether it’s a theme and/or plugin conflict?
Reply back with your findings and we’ll take the next step in troubleshooting. I do want to bring it to your attention that we’re limited on the amount of support we’re able to provide, but I’d be happy to help out where possible.
Thank you for choosing PRO and have a great weekend!

ModeratorHey Matthew,
Sorry to hear about the troubles. Can you please run through our Testing for conflicts guide to see if you’re potentially experiencing a theme and/or plugin conflict? Let me know what you find out and we’ll continue investigating.
Thank you for reaching out and have a wonderful weekend 🙂

ModeratorHi Amy,
Welcome to the forums and thank you for the in-depth post 🙂
Can you please tell me what version of TEC and PRO you’re running on your testing environment? And just to be clear, do you only use the CSV import function to add events to your site, or do you also add them manually?
Again, thank you for reaching out and have a great weekend!

ModeratorHey William,
Thanks for reaching out! In my personal opinion, I think the best way to achieve what you describe would be option #1. A template override using the ‘ecp_custom_2’ should do the trick! More info on the custom fields that may help can be found here. I wish I was able to help assist more but these types of support requests are a bit outside what we’re able to cover.
I hope this answer helps reassure your initial idea and have a great upcoming weekend 🙂

ModeratorHello Heather 🙂
Thanks for reaching out and also for providing the errors and screenshots. I see you have a custom theme active in the screenshot; do the errors still display when reverting back to the default WP theme and deactivating all other plugins other than ours as outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide?
Keep me informed and we’ll continue troubleshooting. Have a great upcoming weekend!

ModeratorWelcome back James,
As they mentioned, the file you’ll need to edit/overwrite is /the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/meta.php. Copy line 49 and paste it to line 43 and the ‘Additional Fields’ should appear below the ‘Details’ section.
Don’t forget to save it in your tribe-events folder inside your theme folder to avoid losing customizations. Please follow our Themer’s Guide when making these customizations 🙂
Good luck and thank you again for choosing PRO!

ModeratorWelcome back, Joe!
After some more testing and conversing, it appears we have indeed “left out” certain columns when using Advanced Post Manager which is causing problems. I confirmed this by reverting back to version 4.1.3. and then back up to 4.2.
With that said, we’ve logged a bug and are already at work on a fix to get this addressed in an upcoming maintenance release. I don’t have a solid date for you, but rest assured it’s on the way! Keep an eye on our blog and your wp-admin for update info.
Take care and have a great weekend!

ModeratorThank you for the response,
This bug has definitely had us support team members scratching our heads, so I’m not exactly sure as to why it’s not working for version 4.1.3 on your site. Would you mind reviewing our Testing for conflicts guide and see if you’re able to save your settings? If you’re still having troubles, would you mind downgrading to an even earlier version (4.1.2) and report back with your findings?
I truly do apologize this is causing such issues! I’ll bring this thread to the attention of my fellow support team members to see if they have any insight on a resolution for the time being. To further assist, can you send over your System Information as a private reply?
Thank you again and have a great weekend!
Hunter
ModeratorThank you for sharing those threads with me 🙂
Unfortunately, you’re probably correct in assuming those threads are irrelevant due to the length of time since those threads were opened and closed.
To clarify, does the issue still persist when reverting back the default (no customizations) Twenty Fourteen theme? What about Twenty Fifteen and Twenty Sixteen?
I really wish I could continue investigating the issue but with no logged bug reports and being unable to replicate the issue means it’s more than likely a theme and/or plugin conflict which I’m unable to support. Regardless, report back with your findings and I’d be happy to give you my input.

ModeratorHey Abigail,
Thank you so much for the informative response 🙂
I’ll make note of your recommendations as I see validity in them. Another good option to make sure it gets in front of the right people would be to add it as an idea to our UserVoice Feature Ideas.
Again, thank you for getting back to me and I’m glad to hear you got everything addressed. I’ll close this thread out but feel free to create a new one if anything else comes up!

ModeratorThank you for the response,
Forgive me for not checking the first time around, but can you please confirm the issue occurs while running through our Testing for conflicts guide? Also, what post type (E.g. ‘posts’ or ‘pages’) are you seeing the issue on? One last question: does the issue occur when running the latest versions of both TEC and PRO (version 4.2)?
Thank you again and have a great weekend 🙂
Hunter
ModeratorHey James,
Happy it worked out 🙂
Don’t hesitate to open a new thread if you have any more questions/concerns. Have a good weekend!
