ModeratorHey Bruce,
Can you visit Events > Settings > General and look for the ‘Create recurring events in advance for‘ setting? How many months do you have entered for that setting? Try increasing it let me know if it makes a difference.
I’m not able to reproduce the issue on my local test environment, so I’m thinking it might have something to do with your site or settings. Please let me know what you find out. Cheers!

ModeratorHello 🙂
Is the “Your import is currently in progress.” message still appearing? We have a bug logged aimed to provide users the ability to completely “kill” an import. So if you are still battling that issue, please know it’s being worked on.
We also have a bug logged aimed to address the issue regarding events not getting updated on your WordPress site after they’ve been updated and reimported from the source calendar. Stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more info. That fix is set to be included in the next maintenance release!
Please let me know the status of your issue and take care!

ModeratorMatthew,
Thank you for sharing that info with me. I recently located a report aimed at addressing the issue you’re currently experiencing. Recurring events in the same series happening on the same day, but different times are not being saved properly.
We are nearing a release for this issue, so please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more info. It is set to be included in the next release!
Sorry we can’t do more in the mean time and let me know if you have any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

ModeratorGreat!
It’s definitely strange how things work themselves out sometimes. Rest assured we’re hard at work so you don’t have to worry about this issue again. Have a great rest of your day!

ModeratorMike,
Did you watch that YouTube video linked to above? Without having the ability to view your site, it’s hard to provide this type of assistance. Do you have a link to a live site? If so, I’d be happy to give it a shot.
Thanks and have a good rest of the day 🙂

ModeratorHey Colin,
I’m looping in Nico here to help further assist. He should be able to take a look tomorrow, so if you don’t hear back from him, feel free to respond to this thread as a reminder for us. Thanks for your patience and take care!

Check out our PRO Color Customizer. I also recommend watching this Using the ‘Inspect’ tool to make changes with CSS YouTube video.

ModeratorHi Lance and Tapan 🙂
@Tapan, can you please create a separate thread about your issue? We have an open bug, so the more threads tied to the bug report will increase the likelihood of a patch being released sooner rather than later.
@Lance, as previously mentioned, we have a logged bug and are aware the plugins are not showing when updates are available in your WordPress admin dashboard. I’ve gone ahead and added this forum thread to the logged report.
For the time being, you can update Manually. Please let me know if you have any additional questions and please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for maintenance release info.
Thanks again to the both of you and have a great evening. Cheers!

ModeratorBat signal incoming… bat signal received!
Hey Lauren 🙂
Thank you for posting! We are actually in the process of retiring the Facebook Events plugin and replacing it with Event Aggregator. You can learn about moving to Event Aggregator here.
Can you possibly transition to Event Aggregator and if you run into the same issue, review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with what you find out. If you are unable to make the move now, I’ll still need you to review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you learn. Lastly, I notice you’re running version 4.2 of PRO and we’re currently on version 4.3.3. I recommend updating to the most recent version.
Please keep me updated on the progress of your issue and have a great evening. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Miles,
Welcome back! We’re fairly limited on the amount of support we can provide when it comes to customizations, but I’ll do my best to help.
1) I want to remove the “Show only the first upcoming instance of recurring events” option checkbox.
Visit Events > Settings > General and check the Recurring event instances box. (see screenshot below) More info can be found here.

2) I want to display 3 columns not 2 and at equal heights if possible.
These are unfortunately the types of requests we can’t help out too much with. I’ll copy/paste the best answer I have when it comes to altering the photo view.
To get started changing the columns from 3 to 4, you’ll need to familiarize yourself with the Isotope Script as it’s what we use to create the layout.
Then we run a script to initialize Isotope on that page.
/events-calendar-pro/resources/tribe-events-photo-view.min.js
Non-minified Version:
/events-calendar-pro/resources/tribe-events-photo-view.js
So to change the formatting you can wp_dequeue_script the first script and then replace it with your own.
3) Center all content inside the photo box display and use a button instead of “Find Out More” text link
The best advice would be to use custom CSS for the centering request and review our Themer’s Guide for information on creating an override which includes a button instead of the “Find Out More” text.
4) Edit main “events” page style including background color, spacing, etc…
It looks like you’re using the Avada theme. This article by the Avada authors is helpful. Check out our PRO Color Customizer. Another helpful resource is our Styles and Page Templates Knowledgebase article. Lastly, this Using the ‘Inspect’ tool to make changes with CSS YouTube video is helpful for learning the basics.
I hope this helps and best of luck with the customizations. If things get above your level of expertise, I invite you to visit our list of customizers and see if any developers can help further assist. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Chris,
Thank you for posting and welcome. I believe I understand your issue, but just to be sure, can you send a link to the thread you referenced and provide step-by-step instructions I need follow to reproduce the behavior? Lastly, can you confirm you reviewed our Testing for conflicts guide? If not, please do so and reply back with your findings.
Thanks again and take care. Cheers!

Before I attempt to reproduce your issue, can you send over your System Information as a private reply?

ModeratorHey Randy,
Welcome back and sorry to hear you’re experiencing troubles. I took a look at your site and noticed you’ve got a white background behind the event content. Are you still having issues? If so, please visit Events > Settings > Display and try different options presented on that screen. More info can be found here and here.
Another idea is to watch this Using the ‘Inspect’ tool to make changes with CSS YouTube video. We are unfortunately limited when it comes to theme and plugin conflicts, but I’ll do the best I can to help.
Lastly, I’ll need you to review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with what you find out. This will help narrow down the cause of conflict.
Have a great evening!

ModeratorHey Colin,
I did a little research but was unable to find any examples of what you seek being done, though there might be some out there. Unfortunately, these types of requests are outside what we’re able to cover on the support forums. I recommend reviewing our Using tribe_get_events KB article as it should help get you started.
Sorry we can’t do more and best of luck. Cheers!
