ParticipantHi James,
Thanks for these extra details. I admit that I am a bit stumped because I cannot recreate these errors on my own site, but will be reaching out to a developer on our team to assist me in investigating these problems.
In the meantime, while you mention what plugin versions you are using, can you post your site’s complete and unedited “System Information” to this thread by following the “Sharing information manually” steps in this article? ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
That will be very helpful for us as we investigate this.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for this, Charles!
For me, I am not getting any issues with importing the venues. The venues get imported fine and added to my site as “new venues”.
I do, however, notice that featured images aren’t importing. I am investigating this further and am going to reach out to a developer on our team for some insight on this. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, can you clarify if you are doing “Scheduled Imports”? Or are you doing “One-time Imports”? Do you get different results in either case, with venues being imported for example?
↑ To be clear, I am talking about Event Aggregator only here. While Facebook Events may work well for now, it is a deprecated plugin that we no longer support, and so I would recommend removing it from your site and only using Event Aggregator.
Thank you!

ParticipantThanks for confirming these details, Cindy. Can you share links to specific events and URLs on your site where the issues are visible? I will take a look at those and help from there.
There is link to specific events or URLs on your site in your reply — I do see screenshots in the Google Doc, but unfortunately looking at screenshots will not be very helpful for me here. I need to see the whole web pages firsthand to see what’s happening.
Thanks for your continued patience and persistence,

ParticipantThanks so much for that information Jim. It’s hugely relevant and is almost certainly the main reason for the issues you’ve been facing.
There’s unfortunately not much that could be done from the perspective of our licensing system. We are always working on improvements to it, and so in the future we could perhaps roll out some better handling for this sort of domain situation, but this is not a simple or quick change and wouldn’t arrive for quite some time (weeks, months, etc.).
Keep us posted on your own progress here and you find any different results with the license keys as you adjust your domain/redirect settings.
Cheers!

ParticipantHey Cliff,
I agree that this is a major bug and it’s something we are working hard on fixing. The bug emerged in version 4.3 of our plugins, but not for everyone, and was hard to replicate reliably. Then in 4.4.x it became a truly apparent bug and we are working hard on publishing a fix.
I will mark this thread “Pending Fix” for now and assure you I will update this thread when the fix is publicly available. Hopefully you won’t have to wait more than a few weeks at most for this fix to arrive.
I am genuinely sorry for the trouble with this. Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with in the meantime—otherwise, stay tuned to this thread for updates.
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantSure thing Stefan. To help me help you with exactly where to make that change, can you clarify if y are you trying to just use a shortcode to list some events in this way, for example? Or a widget, for example? Or are you saying the main List View itself?
Are you hoping to make all instances of the [tribe_events_list] shortcode work like you describe? Or do you want your site’s main /events/ page to be ordered like you describe?

ParticipantThanks for reporting this James.
In your reply above you say, “Poking around here. Seeing another error when I go to the Appearance->Customize menu:” — then you shared a Fatal Error.
So is it safe to say that you literally cannot use the WordPress Customizer at all on your site? Is it totally broken for you?
Just curious about how these errors are actually manifesting in your site’s front-end, and how it works (or doesn’t work) for you specifically.
Thanks,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey @Uwe,
In the meantime, can you actually provide a link to the exact URL at which you found the Extension for CCing organizers?
In your first post on this thread, you say, “I have installed the recommended extension”.
1. Where did you see this extension recommended? Paste a URL to where you saw it recommended.
2. What is the download URL for this extension that you use? Paste that URL here.
↑ Paste both URLs here when you’re able to — I just want to double-check those resources.
Thanks,
George -
