ParticipantHi Katie,
Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our plugins!
Is the ICS ability part of the Pro package?
• No, the iCal Importing features are NOT part of Events Calendar Pro. The separate add-on, iCal Importer, is required for those features.
If not, will the separate ICS Importer plugin work with the free version of the calendar or does it require the Pro calendar?
• Yes, the iCal Importer will work fine with just The Events Calendar. In fact, all of our add-ons do! Just to be 100% clear, The Events Calendar is not only free, it’s also the “Core” plugin here – this is the main plugin that powers the calendar and event features. All other add-ons, including Events Calendar Pro, simply “extend” the Core features, and so The Events Calendar must be installed and activated at all times for any other add-on to function. Events Calendar Pro is NOT required for any other add-on to work.
You can have just The Events Calendar and iCal Importer on your site and it’ll work well.
I just wanted to elaborate on that in case it wasn’t fully clear 🙂
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with.
Thanks,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey @Rob,
There are separate issues that need to be addressed but the first thing to address is the bulk-deletion of events.
Now, you can definitely do more than 20 at a time – if you head to the main “Events” listing page in your site’s wp-admin, then you can click the “Screen Options” tab in the top-right corner of the page and then increase the number of events per page to whatever you want…
However, this can be a bit of a pain because if you get, say, 100 events to show up at a time, often if you bulk-delete all of the events on the page it will crash the server because of the amount of data being processed.
So a better option in my opinion, and what I would personally recommend, is to use a plugin that is coded specifically to handle this problem of too-much-data. A plugin like this, for example → https://wordpress.org/plugins/bulk-delete/
––
Use that plugin on events and let me know what further issues remain on your site – we can go from there to try and get things sorted out.
To that end, then, in your reply can you include your “System information”? Here’s how to do that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks!

ParticipantHey @Courtney!
I’m sorry to bear two pieces of bad news here, the first being that no there unfortunately has been progress towards the specific feature request you linked to. The second piece of bad news is that, while yes there may be ways to interact with maps via jQuery and wire up your own AJAX functions and such, that is not something we can assist with 🙁
For customizations like those, you’d have to write all of the code yourself and/or hire a professional to help you, like one of the developers on this page for example → http://m.tri.be/18k1
Sorry to disappoint!
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThank you for clarifying the first issue – in regards to the misaligned CSV columns when there is a mix of RSVP and paid tickets, I will investigate this and we can make development tickets to improve this in future releases. That will unfortunately take some time – for the time being, when you ask where the CSV export is generated, the main output is built in the Tribe__Tickets__Tickets_Handler class, in its _generate_filtered_attendees_list() method. If you head into the Event Tickets plugin files to src/Tribe/Tickets_Handler.php you will find this.
Cheers!

ParticipantSorry to disappoint, Mukesh!
We have no plans to implement this into our plugins at this time 🙁 If you need these features on your site, at this time you would unfortunately have to custom-code them yourself or hire a professional to code these features for you.
If you’re interested in hiring someone, we have a list of professionals here that might help you get started on the process of finding someone to hire → http://m.tri.be/18k1
Cheers!

ParticipantHey Shannon,
Thank you for sharing this information and for your patience here.
I reached out to developers and it does seem like there’s a known bug here. However, it’s very hard to reproduce and is not consistent.
So the good news is that there is a known bug here. I say “good” because that means we can coordinate a fix for this and try to include a bug fix in an upcoming release.
The bad news is that I unfortunately do not have any ETA on when this bug fix will arrive – like I mentioned, it’s been hard for us to pin down this issue 🙁
I’m sorry to bear this bad news! Please let me know what you think and if I can help with anything else.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey @Rhonda,
We unfortunately do not have any features at this time that would help facilitate a “table choice” sort of thing. I’m sorry to bear that news 🙁
In regards to the first issue with getting a price to show up, this has a few different layers to it. First and foremost, The Events Calendar comes with a “Cost” field, but this field is overridden if Event Tickets is active.
Event Tickets itself only allows the free RSVP tickets – so it will overwrite the cost field and since only free RSVPs are allowed, it will say “free”.
If you have Event Tickets Plus installed, then this will allow tickets to be sold with an actual price, and then these ticket prices will be used instead of the word “free”.
Does this all make sense?

ParticipantThe lack of spacing is because of CSS coming from your site, it is not the default layout for addresses.
George
ParticipantIf only a comma shows up, then the code DOES work – but for the given order, the “Billing First Name” and “Billing Last Name” fields were not filled out by the user.

As for a “Status column” on your RSVPs, can you clarify what this means? Please share a screenshot if possible. You can do so by uploading the screenshot to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThanks for the update David – I’m sorry to hear about the hack and about our lack of clarity in informing about the transition to Event Tickets Plus.
I just renewed the license on the old version — can we transfer that to Event Tickets Pro?
You should have your own license key for Event Tickets Plus specifically – do you see this license key in your account page here – http://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/license-keys?
George
ParticipantAt this time we do not 🙁 I’m sorry to bear that news, @Alain!

ParticipantHey Nathalie,
Instead of the screen capture of that top part of the System Information, can you just copy and paste all of the actual text inside the black box of the “System Information” box into a reply here on the forums?
I’m sorry about the time this is taking! It’s just helpful to try and get to the bottom of the issue.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Adrianna,
Thanks for elaborating on things. Yes, you can edit an entire series of recurring events if you use the “Edit All” link as shown in this screenshot → https://cloudup.com/coMm6grsjrW
If you would rather seek a refund for these items, I’m sorry that our plugins don’t meet your needs but we are happy to refund licenses if you use the steps here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
Thank you for your patience!

ParticipantHey @Websource,
Thanks for all of this information and for your patience with this! I am still not able to recreate this problem but I have found a bug ticket for this that some our other developers are working on, because some people have recreated this issue.
It’s a weird bug and so I unfortunately do not have an ETA on when a fix for it will arrive. However, we are working on it and this has indeed been confirmed as a bug.
I’m sorry that there is not better news at this time. Thank you for your patience!
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThanks for clarifying this – I would recommend reaching out to them with more or less the exact same description of the issues that you used here. This issue:
All seems fine but I still am not seeing the venue in the Upcoming Event and on the event page in the box on the upper left. On the latter the address appears but not the name.
Cheers!
