    I installed the events-tickets plugin and would like to create a way for people to RSVP to events without paying online. The events are showing up as FREE and I cannot find a way to change that. Could you tell me if there is a way to use this plugin without the event displaying as “FREE”?

    Hey Rhonda,

    The Event Tickets plugin does not allow for selling “paid” tickets, so only the free RSVP feature is provided by it – thus, there is not a way to turn of the “FREE” specification for events.

    However, you might be able to hide that text with a bit of custom CSS. Can you share a link to an event on your site where this “FREE” text is showing?

    I tried to find it on your site, but was not able to see any text saying “FREE” anywhere – like on this event, for example, which has the RSVP tickets but no “FREE” text displaying anywhere: http://www.singletogether.com/event/friday-night-bible-study/

    Hey @Rhonda,

    We unfortunately do not have any features at this time that would help facilitate a “table choice” sort of thing. I’m sorry to bear that news 🙁

    In regards to the first issue with getting a price to show up, this has a few different layers to it. First and foremost, The Events Calendar comes with a “Cost” field, but this field is overridden if Event Tickets is active.

    Event Tickets itself only allows the free RSVP tickets – so it will overwrite the cost field and since only free RSVPs are allowed, it will say “free”.

    If you have Event Tickets Plus installed, then this will allow tickets to be sold with an actual price, and then these ticket prices will be used instead of the word “free”.

    Does this all make sense?

    I think the Event Tickets Pro would probably serve us better, but I’ll wait to see how this goes, as we have it, first.
